Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear orangey brown with a small, rough, beige head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Light body, a little low in carbonation, sugary sweet and quite some roasted maltiness. Absolutely no bitterness. 301108 MiP (15972) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2008
Bottle, 1.5%. Surprisingly weak aroma, no sugar, perhaps a little soy. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour is quite sweet, but OK balanced. Also has some dark bread notes. A lot of brown sugar, very much like a Danish hvidtøl. yespr (47474) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 6, 2008
33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a diminished white head. Cornish and mild roasted malt aroma. Sweet breadish malty flavoured. Solid lasting sweetness into the finish.

Bottle (330ml; purchased at the brewery): Deep chestnut-amber coloured, rapidly vanishing small fluffy head, hazy; sweet sweet malt (like german Malzbonbons), caramel and a touch of roasted malt in the aroma; really cloying, but light bodied; sweet and caramelly finish. a very demanding brew for people, who like hops..... MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2007
(33cl bottle, 1.5% abv) Clear, dark mahogany colour with a beige foamy head of medium size. Sweet malt aroma, like German malt bonbons with toffee and shy notes of grassy hops. Sweet flavour, viscid malty and sugary taste, light bodied with a moderate carbonation; very sweet but never sticky finish. Okay. One of the few Malzbiers from Germany that are RB-worthy.
