TBone (19190) - Pori, - JUN 1, 2017
Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Opaque colour, small steady brownish head. Sweetish aroma has vanilla, wood and sweet licorice. Medium-bodied. Vanilla, toasted malts. Finish has roastyness, some bitterness. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Hints of whisky but not dominating. Sweetish but not at all as sweet as Juomahammas I so quite drinkable.

330 ml bottle
Just a hint of whisky. Dark chocolate, dark malts, dark fruits, deep but smooth roast, licorice, vanilla, loafy bread. Intense long aftertaste with bitterness and alcohol heat. Stunning. Excellent job!

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 58.01 - BB 01.12.2019, from Alko, 20170714) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and whisky. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, wood, ash, whisky and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, woody and bitter. A too burnt and woody brew.

0,33l bottle. Pours black with small tanned head. Roasted malts, oak, liquorice, a hint of whiskey. Ramp up the whiskey and this would be perfect!

Bottle. Pours dark brown, black, with a small, dark beige head. Aroma is whiskey, oak, roast, slight coffee, some liquorice. Taste is roasted, slight coffee and chocolate, some liquorice, slight vanilla oak and wooden notes. Dries up on the finish with wooden flavor as well as alcohol though just the feel of the 11%, not the flavor of ethanol.

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. BBE 01.12.2019.
Pours black color with a small lasting beige head. Aroma has cocoa, faint whisky tones, distant vanilla, licorice, roasted malts. Flavor is sticky sweet syrupy, caramel, burnt bitter malts, subtle licorice, faint cocoa and very subtle red berries on the background. Not as sweet as the Oloroso version, some woody notes here too, dry, maybe a bit more pleasant overall.
