Amber colored beer with an off white head that is modestly retained. Aroma is freshly hoppy with some malt balance. Shaply citric, acidic hoppiness. Different from the usual west coast hop brew. Bone dry finish. Nice pale. haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - MAY 26, 2004
Cloudy copper color with a frothy white head. Slight hops in the aroma, but nothing too dominant. Bitter, dry hops in the taste. Kind of different. Nothing jumped out at me about this beer. It’s OK, but thanks Jeremy (jgb9348) for bringing this to me. JonR888710 (999) - Cochabamba, BOLIVIA - MAY 26, 2004
Cloudy copper-orange color. Tremendous, variously sized bubbled head. Smell is sweet hops: sugar, pineneedles, pineapple and apricot. Consistency is thin to medium. Very watery taste that is very mild because of the apricots, similar to what happens if you’ve ever had apricot tea. Still, some pineapple and pineneedle hops are detectable and quite flavorful. Ending is dry, bitter and fruity. jgb9348 (6433) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 26, 2004
Clear copper coloured body with an orange highlight and a dense off-white head. Aroma of pure cascade hops with some malt, and a bit of a citrus twist. Medium-bodied; Nice lemoney flavour with some assertive hops. Aftertaste clean and fresh from the massive cascade hops. Almost an IPA, but a damn good refreshing APA! I got this twelve ounce bottle in a trade (Secret Santa) from bunkypop and sampled it on 26-May-2004. Sickboy282 (1114) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 20, 2004
Pours a light golden yellow with a small white head. Flavors of bubble gum and slight hops. Great balance of hops and malt, yet nothing too special in that.

Bottled. Not a bad beer. Had a slight bitter taste up front that mellowed into a west coast pale ale. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - MAR 6, 2004
A nice golden appearance, with a thin white head. Mainly hops on the nose, both floral and bitter. Taste was initially sweet and finished with a mix of bitter and floral hops.

330mL bottle. golden, translucent. bread-like frothy white head slowly diminishes leaving a nice lace. citrusy hoppy aroma is phenomenal: sour apples, grapefruit. Flavour is intense, the hops are perfect. This is a fantastic APA that I wish I could get more of. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - JAN 31, 2004
Citrusy aroma. Pours yellow in color. Hoppy flavor. Full bodied beer. Pretty good. MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - JAN 30, 2004
Pours Yellow-orange with a nice big lacey white head. Citrussy orange aroma of massive hops. Hoppy flavor with citrus notes. Full body. A touch of malt. I just think this is lacking in refinement, for the flavors are just not coming completely together for me.
