ChillCoat (1029) - Concord, California, USA - APR 24, 2006
Draft. Slightly hazy copper color with a white frothy head. Smells like boiling wort- tons of barley with some hoppiness. Clean malt flavor with a very subtle bitterness and some toffee notes. swanmann (773) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 5, 2006
This belongs to Brewer’s Den, Sonora Brewing. The description listed 4.8%.
Rich amber color with aromas of hops and pine. With a smooth, even palate, this should not disappoint hop-heads. FlacoAlto (4182) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 2, 2003
This beer is a copper color with a thick cream to tan colored head. Fairly clear with a bit of chill haze when it first pours. Smells like American hops, an orange-marmalade / grapefruit aroma to it. Smells sweet from the hops as well. There is a full amount of hop flavor that seeps through as this beer passes through my mouth. Citrus flavors, lightly malty sweet, just wonderful. A fine example of a pale ale, which surpasses many of its more popular brethren pale ales. Finishes with a good hop bitterness. As the beer warms up a bit it becomes quite clear. This beer and the hops definitely remind me of orange-marmalade, yummy. Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 21, 2003

WOW-thanks to squidget on this one! he said "go get some burning bird", so i did. This is a great pale ale! very balanced with an incredible aroma! very very sweet-nice hops from start to finish.
re-rate-in the bottle, this is not as flavorful as on tap-a bit thin too-wonderful aroma still, but a little more straw/grassy flavor going from the bottle. GEOBRAU (188) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 18, 2003
Bottle: Citrus aroma and initial flavor. Malt is apparant. Balanced. A local brew for me so I suppose I get it at or near it's best. Very good Pale Ale.

Citrusy aroma. Pours yellow in color. Hoppy flavor. Full bodied beer. Pretty good. jgb9348 (6256) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 26, 2004
Clear copper coloured body with an orange highlight and a dense off-white head. Aroma of pure cascade hops with some malt, and a bit of a citrus twist. Medium-bodied; Nice lemoney flavour with some assertive hops. Aftertaste clean and fresh from the massive cascade hops. Almost an IPA, but a damn good refreshing APA! I got this twelve ounce bottle in a trade (Secret Santa) from bunkypop and sampled it on 26-May-2004. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - AUG 24, 2004
bottle poured a nice golden color with a heavy thick head that lasts

Very good hoppy taste with a nice tangy finish.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2005 Good hop-head drink. Pours a deep golden color with a thick white head that hangs around for most of the drink. Nice tart citric hop aroma that carries into the flavor. The carbonation adds to a "fun" mouth-feel, bitter with a mild malt flavor. Dry, crisp, tart finish.Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - AUG 24, 2005

Cask at Papago. Aroma of this beer was more like an Ipa. Real good floral and fruit aromas. Amber body with white head and lacing that left a blanket of lacing on the glass. Good citrus flavor. Smooth on the palate. An enjoyable beer.
