Orangish/gold pour with a white head. Hops, honey, caramel malt and plastic aroma. Flavor has more hops and caramel but also a unpleasant plastic flavor. Almost really good. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 15, 2010
caramel malts and citrusy and pine. nice balances, body is creamy and mouthfeel is tingly with carbonation. touch of astringency at the end. anders37 (26709) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 7, 2011
Bottle. Tasted blind @ yespr. Pours a hazy orange color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty yeasty spicy hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty fruity spicy hoppy lemon flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy citrus finish. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - MAY 29, 2003
Noce head and decent lacing, orange in color, with notable cloudiness. Grapefruit peppery flavor a little overwhelming, but decent drink none-the-less. MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - JAN 30, 2004
Pours Yellow-orange with a nice big lacey white head. Citrussy orange aroma of massive hops. Hoppy flavor with citrus notes. Full body. A touch of malt. I just think this is lacking in refinement, for the flavors are just not coming completely together for me.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ yespr blindtasting. [ Bottle #20. ]
Unclear hazy medium orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, baking yeast, belgium yeast, dusty, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, candy sweet, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
If you’ve ever seen a growing snake firecracker then essentially, you’ve seen what this beer’s head can do. having poured roughly 1/2 of the 22oz bottle into a pint the head began to grow, and grow, and grow until it began to slowly recede, leaving behind amazing, tight-knit lacing. Strong aroma of yeast, citrus and apricot... taste on the other hand has notes of grapefruit, apple and Zinc. While this beer has an awesome scent and a pretty good taste, I was not as psyched as I had expected to be when pouring and sniffing. The carbonation overpowers the mouthfeel... almost difficult to get a sense of this beer as it doesn’t sit on the tongue very long... rather, dances around not leaving much of a footprint. Overall enjoyable but wish it would settle a little more, perhaps at a warmer temp it would settle on the tongue but overall I am just not a big fan of big carbonation. I'm with argo on this one totally. Its a pretty good pale ale though, not special. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - MAR 6, 2004
A nice golden appearance, with a thin white head. Mainly hops on the nose, both floral and bitter. Taste was initially sweet and finished with a mix of bitter and floral hops.

Pours a light golden yellow with a small white head. Flavors of bubble gum and slight hops. Great balance of hops and malt, yet nothing too special in that.
