Incredibly balanced, basil-filled, and herbaceous brew with just the right amount of sweetness, sour, and saltiness. The perfect compliment to any meal. Caramel, toffee, and honey fill the flavor. Complex but not overt. Well done... Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 17, 2012
22oz bomber pours clear deep gold with tall two minute dirty tan head of tawdry foam. The aroma is cool with various light colored skin fruits like apple, mango as well as cranberry to berry notes sliding around on top of floral hops and faint saison spicy yeastiness. Lots going on there. The taste has sort of a grainy start before sweet fruity notes and honey come to the surface. It then picks up like sage and rosemary and a touch of black pepper. Another dig at the aroma as it warms yields herbally rosemary, sage and black pepper as noted in the flavor. Maybe the taste influenced the aroma some or sharpened my aromatic focus. This is cool stuff with a tasty mix of esters and spices and herbs. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Very light pour. Highly carbonated. Beautiful bouquet of basil on the nose. And, for what it's worth, that is the primary flavor. Lingering taste of mint. An interesting brew.

From a 22oz bomber, pours a cloudy yellow orange with a white head. Aroma is rich in basil with perhaps a touch of grapefruit peel. As it warms, pickup a lot of grapefruit juice and spicyness from e basil. Really enjoyable. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Bottle from GCM Liquors. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a nice white head that remains firm and shows some lacing. Aroma is a nice balance between basil and citrus. Taste is sweet from the grapefruit and malts along with a little herbiness. Some light bitterness on the end. Thinner bodied and very easy to drink. I like this quite a bit for the summer heat here in Arizona. Cool brew.

Hazy gold pour, white head. Aroma is loaded with basil, yeast, light peppery notes and a hint of lemons and lemongrass. Flavor has tons of fresh basil, yeast, and light malt. Refreshing and would be great with food. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 29, 2013
(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) cloudy gold, ring of fine white bubbles. Nose of abundant italian sweet basil, ruby red grapefruit, brown sugar, and white table sugar. Taste of sweet basil, light ruby red grapefruit but not bitter at all, citrus zest, watermelon, really unique refreshing beer. Light and effervescent natural carbonation. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - JUL 29, 2012
22 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a hazy light golden color with a one and a half finger thick white head. Light lacing. Aroma is basil and light citrus with a hint of pepper. Unique and quite nice. Flavor is much of the same with the addition of a little malt sweetness for some balance. Finish is light spice. No veggie off flavors. Light to medium body. This beer was a pleasant surprise. phaleslu (10099) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 12, 2012
22 oz. bottle shared by Chris. Thanks again! Pours a hazy pale yellow-gold with a thick, resilient bready bone white head. Really unique aroma- lots of basil, with citrus, pepper, brown sugar, and sweet malts. The flavor is a slightly less exciting version of the same. Light-medium bodied, with a fresh, herbal mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Unique and tasty. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 30, 2012
