draft, this is weird. Chocolate flavors in a pale ale that was light. Interesting for sure.
Je m’en serais passé. mrmartin (786) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 19, 2015
Hazy golden pour with white head. Nose is chocolate and fruity yeast. Sweet throughout, watery body. Sticky-sweet finish
Overall: weird. It would take a serious master to make this palatable. As is it was not the best.

Unclear pale yellow with a quickly dissipating bubbly head. Eyes deceive the nose. Does not smell like it looks. Theres some grain and ’pale lager’ aroma beneath apparent chocolate. Chocolate milk. Vanilla. Flavor follows, which is unexpected. Too crisp and too much prickly carbonation. Bigger light body. Even if its all on purpose, this is an odd confusing experience. super carbonated, tingly feeling. a little white chocolate in flavor and aroma. aroma is a little flat for me.

This was NOT bad at all. It reminded me a lot of a paler version of Brasserie Bourganel Biere au Nougat. Clean, caramel/chocolate notes, restrained sweetness, and a fairly dry finish. It was enjoyable in small doses. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 24, 2014
On tap @ The State Bar. Clear golden pour with white foam. Some chocolate, vanilla extract, and a whole lot of sugar. Like, woah. Super sweet and malty. Flavor is like a prepackaged chocolate milk with a bunch of extra sugar and some vanilla. Tons of sweetness to this. Almost undrinkable to me with how sweet it is. No thanks. citydave (93) - - OCT 16, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2014 Pours amber with fast dissipating head. Little aroma even though I let it warm up. Mostly flavorless with a small hint of chocolate. Very watery. Don?t waste your money on trying this one. dnstone (3701) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Golden in color with a bit of white head. Slight chocolatey aroma, definitive white chocolate flavor. Quite interesting, and surprisingly chocolatey flavor that goes decently with the beer. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 15, 2014
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy cocoa powder and light vanilla...maybe a touch of grass. It?s a transparent dull gold with a small white head that eventually fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is some spotty lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of wheat. The finish has light-moderate sweet cocoa powder and vanilla. It?s light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, it?s probably a good thing I got a 4oz sample. I like chocolate, but straight cocoa powder generally wears on me quickly.
