Bottle at home. Pours cloudy orange with a large, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is sweet white chocolate, vanilla, and light cracker malt. Flavor is white chocolate, light cracker malt, vanilla, sugar and a sweet finish. Medium-light body and light carbonation.

1 liter flip-top bottle acquired in a couple of trades. Opened to a loud and audible pop and proceeded to pur with a huge sized white head. Settled down to a mdeium yellow color. Aromas of vanilla, some citrus, and if I stretched it, some lighter chocolate. Tastes follow suit. This one was just kinda thin and all around boring. I dont know if that fancy bottle lead me to expect something more, but I was somewhat dissapointed.

Bottle that I brought to the Rosso release at Captain Lawrence. Pours a hazy gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Smells almost exactly like peanut M&Ms. Medium bodied, sweet and with a light faint tartness. Candy and milk chocolate. A little bit sour and tart on the finish. Yummy and tangy. I really liked this one and was quite surprised at how good it was.

Bottle as Wht Chclt. Aromatic first shows little chocolate though the flavor is a tootsie roll wit. Interesting but not great. Aroma eventually opens up a little. Body is way too carbonated and takes away from the overall.

White chocolate in a hefeweizen, experienced at The Yard House, Scottsdale as not on at the Pinnacle showcase restauraunt for Sonoran. Better than described. I liked the white chocolate flavour, it came through. Why in a hefe? I don’t know, but places about town were putting various flavours in their hefe, Phoenix’s idea of extreme beer. The aroma of the sweet white chocolate. Not super drinkable, a sipper. Some lace. Looks like a hefe.

Bottle shared by Jim, thanks! Poured a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a slight light fruit and citrus note with a sweet chocolate and grain note backing. Flavor had a slight sweet grain note with growing light chocolate and a hint of light fruit coming out in the finish.

22 oz bottle. Straight from Phoenix. Thanks Timo A! Hazy golden color with a tiny white head. White chocolate, tropical fruits, sweetness and some maltiness in the aroma. Malt, some dryness, mild bitterness and some sweetness. The flavor is rather mild. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very interesting beer. Cloudy gold color with a small white head. Aroma is a bit funky with certain smells of white chocolate and yeast. Flavor might have a hint of white chocolate but not a lot. Some yeast and tart flavors are there...pretty creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle… Backus’s Backdoor Bash ‘08... Murky off-white ale. Lightly acidic, buttery nose provides additional notations of white chocolate and vanilla. Light to medium-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor offers a nice tart snap to go along with notes of vanilla, cocoa butter and white chocolate. Tart, tangy finish. Bottle courtesy of Beerlando!
