5/16/11. Bomber labeled "White Chocolate Ale" courtesy fata2683! Light golden pour with a frothy off-white head that lasts. This is very interesting. Bright wheat aroma hits at first with lemon peel and soft wheat malts but then lingers with a definite chocolate touch. Slightly tart lemon wheat brew flavor hits first but the lingering flavor is definitely smooth, almost buttery white chocolate. Quite interesting and quite nice! Bomber poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, milk chocolate and light marshmallow. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of cookie, milk chocolate and marshmallow with a smooth lingering chocolate finish. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUN 20, 2008

pours a hazy blonde color with a small white head which leaves a bit of spotty lacing. i get a lot of chocolate in the aroma. not white so much, but a lot of rich buttery chocolate along with nuttiness, fresh vanilla bean, grassy/skunky/noble hops and a blast of whole roasted coffee beans. the flavor is the same. a let down of sorts given the potency of the aroma. the nuttiness develops into distinct hazlenuts while the coffee and chocolate linger long into the aftertaste. medium to full bodied with a bunch of carbonation. insanely creamy butter-like mouth feel... i’m liking this one. interesting and highly quaffable....
Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Smells of perfume, grass, hay, some white chocolate. Tastes of perfumy funk, white chocolate, bananas, dry malt, spice, a touch of citrus. Interesting. KegOstertag (92) - - NOV 21, 2012
Drank from 22 oz bottle poured into snifter glass. Aroma- brilliant notes of chocolate and hints of booze. Smells like you are siffing a hersheys bar dipped in rum. Appearance- nothing special. Light golden color. Almost comes out flat. Taste- tasts like white chocolate beer. Amazing they can capture this taste without being too sweet or syrupy. Palate- dissapointing mouthfeel. Just get the booze with no chocolate. Overall- very impressed and good fun beer.

Surprisingly pretty good. Very well pronounced white chocolate taste, which somehow actually works with the beer. More of a novelty than anything else, but I would rate it higher than Rogue’s "donut beers." Again, though, I think Sonoran missed its opportunity by not making this a stout. Thanks to Beerlando for the taste, by way of FlacoAlto. Slightly cloudy, orange-tinged yellow color. Full of lemons with just a hint of chocolate flavor. Lots of bubbly carbonation round out this tasty brew. ajm (1072) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Tap at Boulders in Tempe. Such a strange brew. Nose of concentrated and natural white chocolate powder. A slightly cloudy beer like a Tripel. Taste of the same and sweet yogurt. Really something. The texture isn’t something I have experienced in a beer this light in color. nuplastikk (6416) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 1, 2011
22oz bottle. Pale golden tan color. Bubbly, effervescent head which fades into a creamy, oily, thin layer. Really unique, and quite refreshing, I can dig it. While most dessert beers tend to be sugary and cloying, this remains quite smooth and drinkable. Solid white chocolate tones, no mistaking it. A mild, almost lemony herbal twang evens it out, suppose the wheat and hops. Quite a cool concoction, one that captures big time flavor with sessionability. A little thin-bodied at times, but I think that’s also what makes it work. arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 16, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2011 Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Nothing like the bottle suggested. The aroma is almost all white chocolate, there’s also a hint of wheat. The taste is amazingly good, the white chocolate is there but it’s not overwhelming or too sweet. It’s just a perfectly balanced wheat beer with a hint of white chocolate. Super good. The first couple batches of this they put out were really sour. I’m glad they’ve finally cleaned up their brewing process because this is a fantastic beer.
