Orange color with a large white creamy head. The aroma was full of hops, but not bitter...tons of sweet peaches, flowers, and pine trees. The flavor was sweet...pine, peach/apricot, slightly bitter, slightly acidic. I thought the feel was a little too wet for this kind of beer..a drier, crisper feel might have made this beer incredible. Very impressive IPA. I've never had one quite like this. Very very good. A big fluffy white head. Pale copper color. Rich, tart nicely hopped. Very enticing beer from the label to the palate. Superb, gives Stone IPA a run for their money. sloth (2906) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2003
Off white head, nice lacing.Large grain aroma. Medium body. Clear amber/dark copper color. Malty IPA. More in the english style.Decent balanced finish, nice hop bitterness at the end. Seems to have some barleywine like notes about it. Interesting brew argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 24, 2003
(draft) Orange body with small beige head. Aroma is straight-on English-style floral hops, very even. Taste is floral hops, medium sweet, good malty backbone. Nice chewiness. Andrew196 (1902) - Katy, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2003
Typical IPA color, average head, lacey. hoppy aroma with notes of brown sugar. Not overdone...congrats! True to the style of IPA with an excellent malt/hop balanced taste preceding the mildly bitter finish.

Medium brown color. Small head. A hoppy, malty IPA. Good flavor, not a lot if bitterness in the aftertaste. Hearty but mellow. Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 3, 2002
Re-Rate 10/03/02: A slightly cloudy amber color, the head is ’mountainous’, frothy, beige, long lasting as is the lace. Nose is floral, malt, sweet, and a nice ’Sniffing Beer’. Front is malt, sweet, the top light, the finish is appropriately hopped, acceptably dry, and satisfactorily carbonated. A good drinking beer, not great, but darn good actually. Ranks #587 on my current 1000 beer master list. Brodie (540) - Boone, North Carolina, USA - SEP 28, 2002
Had this from the cask at Papago Brewing. One of the best IPAs I’ve had. Citrussy, flowery aroma of american hops. Excellent balance of malt sweetness with hop bitterness and flavor. One of my favorite beers. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JUN 25, 2002
Wow! Acidy, sweet, hoppy, prickly-in-the-back of the throat. Like the APA of theirs I just had but amped up a notch. Interesting, again. Thanks to BigAl96. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - APR 24, 2002
Pale copper color; Thick head with a ’pancake’ surface; Aroma was mild and bready. Dry, tart across the tongue. Very nice floral character. One of the subtlest and nicest IPA’s that I have ever had. Wonderful balance. Well Done!!
