Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-clear gold color with a cap of a white foamy head that slid into oblivion. No lace.
The aroma had some malted wheat sweetness and then citrus peel, light honey tones and then Belgian yeast. Coriander is there, but super faint.
The flavor follows through with the sweetness in the lead and then some bitterness from the citrus peel comes in. Coriander even sits further back. Not much of an aftertaste of anything, just seems to lead to a wet semi-sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. ABV really felt on par for what the brewer projected.
Overall, if I still lived in the Soo, I would pound this every Summer, perhaps after I brought in my catch of walleye and salmon, (I could see growlers of this going down full throttle down my throat). crossovert (13457) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2015
Draft. Super sweet brew, orange flavor, not as dry as you would expect for a honey beer. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 30, 2014

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat with a bit of citrus peel and coriander as well as a touch of Belgian yeast. Flavor combines sweet wheat and coriander. Flight 7/31/14 (Brewery)-Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, and spices. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is a bit basic and lacking.
