Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, while the flavor is plainly sweet and malty. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2008

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy and amber with a fully diminished off white head. Mild spiced and vague breadish aroma. Flavour is slight oldish mix of caramel and fruity notes with a vague spice note. Slowly building bitterness in the finish.

Bottle bb nov 05. Crystal clear copper brown. Low near-white head. Quite aromatic for a lager; a pleasant smell of toffee and buttery malts. Rounded sweet malt flavor. Very mildly hopped. Clean mouthfeel. Light-bodied. This beer has developed very nicely, considering the low strenght and the fact that bb-date was two and half years ago. Bottle. Red brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt. Flavour is caramel, malt, hint of oxidition. I have tasted this one earlier and then i think the beer was thiner in the body. Beer5000 (6628) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2008
330 ml bottle. Beautiful reddish brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma is caramel and malt. Flavor is slightly roasted caramel malt and not so much more. But very smooth and harmonic. Shared this with Yngwie and Gunnfryd as a past before date experience. Used to have a few of this every Christmas, but it was actually higher rated as a more matured and slightly oxidized version. yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 27, 2008
Bottle. I had this when it was still on the market some years ago, but I actually rated it higher now that it was 28 months past BB-date, so I let that rating count. It had an orange-copper, clear body with a small off-white head. The nose had an oxidized character, as well as the malt, toffee and Christmasy touch as when fresh, bearing in mind it was a quite low alcohol Christmas beer. The flavor had a nice toffee touch, bread, malty sweetness and no bitterness. DIdn’t make notes of bitterness earlier either. It was rather thin in the mouth, and finished with toffee and bread. Very impressing considering the age, amontst the weaker Norwegian Christmas beers, it didn’t stand out. (080215) HansJM (358) - NORWAY - JAN 26, 2005
Well, there is some juleøl-taste in there - in the water...But you have to be positive-minded to find and appriciate it.
