Malzig hopfige Beginn, bitter grasig, deutliche Getreidenoten. Der Hopfen bleibt intensiv und wird grasiger, deutlich bitter, süß. Noten von Roggen. Langer blumig grasiger Nachgeschmack. 12/10/12/12/8/12 Ferris (18245) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 7, 2016
Bottle - Caramel and some earthy pithy hops. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Harsh up front bitterness with a touch of vegetal notes. Benzai (17009) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 30, 2016
Bottle [from Euro Swap 2016-2 thanks to Anstei] @ home. Clear dark amber, red-purple color with a medium to full sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, full of hops, resin and pine. Taste malts, fruity hops, fruit bitter, grapefruit, citrus, bitter, slight resin in the background. Medium body and carbonation. Not as thick and less sticky resin and pine I’m used to in an Imperial IPA, but pretty nice! bierkoning (14027) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 29, 2016
Bottle, thanks Anstei! Amber color. Dried tropical and citrus fruit and a hint of floral oily hops in the aroma. Malty sweet hopbitter flavor, oily floral. Grassy notes. Dried tropical fruit. Decent. Bov (13677) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 20, 2015

<re-rated 10/2016, courtesy of Marco Buraschi - pretty clear ruby-brown beer with a moderate beige foam left; pungent aromatic hoppiness with solid notes of citrus, earth and pines; full-bodied, assertive and very tasty; very bitter and very dry; adequate carbonation, long aromatic finish, earthy, spicy and with some licorice and more citrus - huge beer!

Pours clear amber color with a small head. Aroma has tropical fruits, some hops, citric notes, gooseberry bush and strawberries. Flavor is also very fruity, bitter malty, resinous hop notes and caramel. Alcohol is well hidden. Very nice fruity DIPA.
Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Amber color with medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, distinct citrus hops. Taste, solid caramel malty base followed by nice citrus hops, alcohol. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Very good. MrTipple (7868) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2016 Intense pine and resin, grass, sweet grain malts, molasses. Hazy, dark amber, massive, creamy, beige head. More pine, resin, grass, turning very bitter, soft carbonation, full bodied, super bitter and dry finish. Very piney and resinous IIPA, seems a bit one dimensional, too intense in piney bitterness, lacks complexity. Bottle from Beers’n’More, Zurich. SinH4 (7260) - Garching b. UPDATED: MAY 9, 2016 Fresh bottle (a few weeks old), courtesy of Marco Buraschli, many thanks! Brown-amber color with a tan head. Aroma is lots of juicy tropical fruits and that typical Schwarzbrot maltiness that Swiss IPAs often have. Taste is bubblegum, juicy fruits, a mentholy yeast freshness (which might have made me think of rye last time), Schwarzbrotkruste, herbal-earthy hops and a very late heavy medicinal bitterness. Medium carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Much different from the half-year old bottle, but I wouldn’t consider it "better" - one the one hand, it’s much juicier and less grassy, but the bitterness is a bit too medicinal now, taking away balance. 8-3-8-3-15
Bottle (approx. a half year old) courtesy of anstei. Brown-amber color with big tan head. Aroma is, for my palate, very typical of Swiss DIPAs: rye-ish maltiness, grassy hoppiness, a bit herbal, resinous hops, sweeter juicy fruits as well. Taste is juicy hops, schwarzbrotkruste, a rye-like spiciness, grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is quite soft, the carbonation is medium, but also soft. Aftertaste of a grassy bitterness and juicy fruits. Good! 7-3-8-4-15.
