(Bottle) clear, bright very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast; creamy palate; dry flavour with a long, light bitter finish ryanhunter_4 (379) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 24, 2017
355 ml poured at home. Day 19 of the craft beer advent calendar. Pours dark brown with a tan head. First smell I thought “grape”; second go was roasted nuts and malts. Taste is slightly bitter with malt, smoke and a touch of alcohol. Reminds me of the black ipa here at Origin.

Dark color, near black. Smooth, a bit thin, good dark malts, not the Lager character that is expected, but a good "Stout".
355ml bottle @ Matt's. Pours an opaque black with a thin beige head. Nose is lightly roasted with a more prominent toasted bready malt. Flavour is quite simliar, simply put with a mild bitter finish. mcberko (19869) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 30, 2017
12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, with bready malt, some vanilla and a touch of caramel. Flavour is robust, with toasted malt, light vanilla and a touch of caramel. Rather bitter as well, but it works well enough. Nice stuff.
