COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made with Belgian malts, Trappist yeast and a new German Hop, this authentic Belgian style "Blonde" ale bears a family resemblance to our Tripel Entendre, in an lighter, more refreshing ale. The newly developed "Smaragd" (Emerald) hop brings a classic German aroma hop to a new level with hints of lime zest and other citrus, and the classic European malts make for a crisp, yet creamy texture. Availability: Bottles and Draft

Creamy yellow pour, white foam. Aroma has some Belgian spice and yeast thing going on. Prickly grass. Taste is creamy, sweetish yeast spices, hurmaa, pumpkin and some honey. Turns bit sour in the end. Hop bitterness there also. Nice and refreshing despite its abv.

Cloudy yellow body. Sweet yeasty bubblegum aroma and taste. Not a bad, but pretty simple belgian ale. Okay.

Golden. A bit of medium biscuit up front. Fruity hop notes, Belgian yeast notes, some booze. Medium bodied. Nice.

Bottle:   Deeper golden, little white head and lacing.   Soft breadiness up front, a little mealy.   Clean, but not crisp.   Light to moderate sweetness.   Feels a little heavier than other Blondes at least.   Clean finish, a little lingering mealiness.   Tiz alright, but wished it were crisper.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a very thin head. Tastes like lemon, herb, banana, and dry citrus hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like Lin, herb, banana, and dry citrus hops.

Rating #1322 12.11.2014. Bottle from CBI. Mildly hazy, golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is yeast, coriander, and cloves. Taste is mildly sweet, herbal. Full bodied, this packs an albeit well disguised punch. Finish is quite smooth. Delicious.

22 oz bomber bought from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR $4.99 Pours a darker gold colour with a small white head..good lace down the glass though. Aromas of sweet cherry soda, bubblegum and clove. Not bad at all. Taste is quite sweet but it tends to dry out near the end...ending in a peppery taste that i like. Palate is fine enough and the carbonation high enough to keep the sweetness from getting cloying. OK attempt at a Belgian Blonde

Dull amber, thin head. Aroma is a bit plasticy and phenolic, and the taste is plasticy, and has a slightly estery element.

mcberko (20268) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 30, 2015
On tap at Sound, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts and biscuity notes. Flavour reveals sweet cereal malts and some banana. Not a very elegant blonde, but it’s clean and drinkable. Meh.
