Serving: from bottle--purchased at Sound Brewery.
Aroma: moderate apple aroma.
Appearance: very small, light-brown, initial head that disappeared in seconds. Fully diminishing longevity and fair lacing. Hazy, dark-orange body.
Taste: moderately sweet, cherry-like initial flavor, and moderately sour finish with average duration.
Palate: medium bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: good. Beerdrinker79 (2188) - Idaho, USA - APR 9, 2013
22 oz. bottle- Pours very dark ruby red with a thin tan head that reduces to a collar. Aroma is caramel malts, sweet, some hops. The taste is the same, light caramel malts and hops imparting a dryness in the finish. Body is medium to light and carbonation is somewhat high. This was good, not great, I actually liked that it was a lighter body, not so thick caramel malty, but nothing special here. jonno (2751) - JAPAN - APR 7, 2013
Pretty straight forward dubbel imitation. Dried dark fruit, a hint of chocolate and some esters. Solid.
