22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating but was purchased recently. Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of huge mango, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, passion fruit, caramel, floral, and light herbal. Fantastic aromas with huge tropical fruit notes; it is unlike any other DIPA I have had in the past. Big hop sweetness; but it is so inviting even without the pine resin I am so used to having in an IPA. Taste of big orange, pineapple, mango, caramel, pine, grapefruit, passion fruit, tangerine, orange rind, floral, honey, and herbal spiciness. Nice amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tropical fruits, citrus, citrus rind, pine, caramel, floral, herbal, and grass on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic hop complexity and malt balance; zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a fairly creamy, slick, and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic DIPA. Huge hop complexity and balance; very smooth and easy to sip on. This was truly unique as a DIPA, and highly enjoyable.

On tap at barley brothers, pours a clear yellow color. The hops and bitterness seem to overpower anything else that might be in this beer. Not a big fan of this one cmacklin (1241) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 29, 2016

Clear, dark copper pour, with a large off white head. The aroma is loaded with sticky, resinous pine notes. Some candied, slightly citrusy zest. Light lemon, and grapefruit. Some sweet, and malty cereals, hints of nuts and some bread. Viscous mouthfeel, good carb.. Medium to high mouth feel, more resinous pine, slightly soapy, but we’ll balance with some, semi sweet bready malts. Alcohol is well hidden, a well balanced old school dipa. snoworsummer (5911) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 7, 2016
