Serving: from bottle--purchased at Sound Brewery.
Aroma: lightly floral and citrusy.
Appearance: small, off-white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, orange body.
Taste: lightly sweet and citrusy initial flavor and lightly acidic/sour grapefruit-like finish with average duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: excellent. Exceptional taste. Easy to drink and refreshing. 22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - SEP 20, 2012
On tap at the Brave Horse Tavern. Pours a light copper, a little hazy and with little to no head. Fruity esthers dominate the aroma with distinctive notes of apple and pear coming to the forefront. Tastes is slightly sweet in the beginning and finishes very dry and somewhat tart. There’s a richer malty biscuit and cracker like flavor that pushes through this beer. For 4 bucks this was a steal. Great beer with malty nutty taste. Good pour with nice head MarinaMarket (254) - POULSBO, Washington, USA - FEB 27, 2011
So we finally meet! This is the first beer out of Sound Brewery and I had a heck of a time finding it on tap as it was going fast. Beautiful frothy white head, dissipates quickly but clings to glass. Cloudy from the chill, apricot color, fruit, yeast, and sugars on the nose. Even cold the beer shows great balance, nice carbonation, and a hearty Belgian quality not often found on the Left Coast. Tasted @ 45, 50, & 60F. corpsuckle (101) - Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2014
This one was... meh. Rather disappointing as I've enjoyed some of Sound's other brews. This one was just extremely boring.
