Light bronze with a frothy, thin cover. Wonderful pepper yeast aroma accompanied by subdued banana. Green banana and watered down peppery yeast flavor. Interesting enough to be enjoyable from start to finish. Ernest (7694) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy light to medium amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of gum, pepper, tangerine.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Pleasant nose but rather sweet. RobertDale (6471) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - FEB 10, 2013
22 ounce bottle. Pours a light copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, spice, and hops. Taste is malt, bananas, cloves, yeast, and grass. Decent but not too exciting. TimE (5811) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 16, 2013
Hazy golden amber color. Very estery, mildly fruity. Med body very Belgian estry. Simple Belgian pale ale. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle:   Dirty golden, a bit hazy, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Bready nose, slight grain, even a touch of blackened banana.   Seems somewhat yeasty on the tongue, somewhat like an American Tripel, but its also has some graininess and a smidgen of ashtray to it.   Breadiness doesn’t linger long.   A bit of wet straw like grassiness brings up the backside.   I was hoping this one would be a little light, fluffy, a bit bright, but its heavier, yeastier, and more bready than I care for.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Coats the tongue well.   Lingering grassiness after the finish.   Light sweetness as well.   Its okay, but not one I would reach for again.

pours a cloudy orange with a very small white head that goes away quickly, leaves almost no lace.
smell is of a little spice, some fruit, musty, and a touch of caramel.
taste is smooth, peanut butter, fruit, some spice, yeast, and a little white pepper. ends dry. KansaiBeerLvrs (5147) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 11, 2014
Taster from Bomber at the Hanshin Seed Event. Belgian pale ale, crackery malts, slight tart/sour and almost a perfumery floral quality to it - interesting. The taste is a bit rough giving me mostly graininess, then a fruity tang and some breadiness. For me a miss. KyotoLefty (10254) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 3, 2013
Draught at Q-Brick. Amber-orange with lace. Estery nose, with peaches, earthy. Fruity, earthy flavor, again esters and stone fruits. Quite bland and boring. Doesn’t really go anywhere. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 7, 2013
bottle. amber with small head. had high hopes for this one and was quite underwhelmed. hops are lacking and not very flavorful. minimal belgian spice.
