Serving: from tap at Sound Brewery Tasting Room.
Aroma: moderate cherry aroma.
Appearance: small, white, initial head that quickly disappeared. No lacing. Clear, flat, red body.
Taste: lightly sour initial flavor and finish. Short duration.
Palate: light body, dry texture, lively/fizzy carbonation.
Overall: interesting aroma and flavor. Reminded me of a Belgian ale.
Sound Brewing, Poulsbo. Creamy top, clear malty red. Sweet, caramel malt. Pretty bright. Some peaty notes. Solid, clean Irish red. Not great but solid. pictoman (1084) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 17, 2016
Poured from 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Medium brown with slight reddish hue, off-white head. Aroma of light caramel and nuts. Taste of bready grain, light creamy toffee, and mild hops. nealblind (1849) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - NOV 16, 2015
red chestnut brown- not red enough. long lasting bit of white foam ring. Aroma malt caramel toffee bread. Tastes nutty chestnuts, dark toast. Clean drinking but creamy. Sorta watery. Seems like a slightly darker roasted bitter- which is good, maybe not the most true to style. Capa (3257) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - SEP 3, 2015
Deep red with a tan head. Malty and light earth notes, with a sweet toasted caramel backbone. Easy going and tasty. Not a very memorable beer, but a good evening drinker. JanosX (54) - - JUL 26, 2015
Looks & smells great. Dark amber, but not opaque. Aroma of fruit and vanilla. The drinking experience doesn't live up sadly. Watery texture with the fruit, caramel and vanilla not balancing. It's not bad it's just ok.

Dark amber color with small head. The aroma is very nutty; dark caramel, solid wood furniture, grains; really good. Dry mouthfeel; the flavor focuses on dark caramel with grainy malt, correct bitterness.
Fantastic aroma, ok flavor.
Bottle - Nice sweet caramel, light grain and butterscotch. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Caramel, light twig and a burnt sugar finish. reebtogi (6246) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 19, 2015
650ml bottle pours amber in color with a creamy off-white head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some bready grains and mild herbal notes. Taste is a herbal hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall, this brew suits the style ok and is decently balanced, but not one of the best in class. Homer321 (5045) - Melboring, Florida, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Bottle shared by mrs. Quash. Aroma is lightly sweet and toffee with a touch of toast. Taste is really estery and fruity. Light toffee in the flavor. Overall just a fruit bomb. MrSquash (155) - Florida, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Slightly more hop forward than malt. Pours clear reddish Amber with off white head. Minor dark fruit scent. Very Watery on the pallet but malt forward with a slight bitter aftertaste.
