Tried on tap at Deepwater grille. Poured a dark brown with ruby tones when the light passes through it. Held a nice thing tan head the entire time. Aroma was dark and inviting, hints of raisin and cherries. Drinking it was a very awesmme experience. Very luxurious drink, thick and chewey and refreshing. Tastes of raisins and cherries. On tap at the Southshore Brewery. Hazy dark brown with very thin tab head. Nose is caramel and a touch woody. Mouthfeel is nice, not sure what the ABV is, but its big and the beer is hiding it really well. Vanilla, caramel with supporting malt and hops. On draught at the O’so Taphouse in Plover, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a thick beige head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel and raisin notes, floral hops and a hint of butterscotch. Taste has more sweet caramel and raisin character, dark pitted fruits and a hint of floral hops. On tap at the O’so tap house. Pours a clear golden amber with a tan head that dissipatesx to the edges and laces. Aroma has a strong popcorn note with some sweet grains and light fruit backing. UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Tap at South Shore Brewery on Nov. 18, 2011. Pale gold pour with a foamy white head and good retention. Aroma of caramel and dark fruit. Smooth palate with some body. Taste was caramel, hops, and mild dark fruit.
