Sample on tap at the brewpub. Good thin white head, leaving good full lace. Totally hazy pale yellow color. Nice smooth lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Light tart sweetness. Solid banana aroma. Light spice. A totally fine enjoyable hefe. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2011
On tap at the brewpub in July 2009.
Pours a cloudy yellow color with a slight white head and not too much lacing. Nose brings some fairly strong clove and spice notes. A moderate amount of banana. The taste is some slight wheat as well as clove, banana, and hints of bubblegum. Moderate body with good carbonation. Was a nice, drinkable brew after a long summer day.

typical lemon yellow cloudy appearance with not much head but some lacing. Typical delicate fruit notes but quite smooth and not harsh at all. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 9, 2009
Draft. Pours a hazy, dirty yellow with a creamy, off white head. Yeast, biscuit, and lemon in the nose. Medium low carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Citrus, yeast, a little dough, and a slight metallic note on the palate. Medium short finish with a lingering bitterness. Kind of watery. Left great lacing though.

On tap at South Street; poured a cloudy straw color with not much head by the time it got to me. Nose was a bit floral, with not as much banana and spice as I like. Flavor was just ok; not as pronounced as it could have been. Some banana, spice and fruit. Not a great example of the style, but not real bad either. THOUGHTS: It was hard to truly rate this one because the server brought it out with a lemon in it.
TECHNICAL: On tap at Sought Street Brewery. Was a medium brownish orange with a small head that mostly diminished leaving no lacing. The aroma was slight banana, then some wheat and yeast but sort of flat. The flavor was very slat banana wheat and a little citrus, but they didn’t seem to blend well together. No balance at all. The light body was very watery with soft carbonation and a dry finish. Drake (13654) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 25, 2008
