COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An authentic Bavarian-style wheat beer. The German yeast we use imparts subtle banana and clove flavors that are very refreshing. Brewed with half wheat malt and half Pilsen malt. A cloudy golden-orange hue, Hefeweizen is known world-wide as the quintessential warm-weather beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Very murky yellow/orange appearance - looked a little like pineapple juice. Good spicy clove aroma with some estery banana notes. Less in the flavour where it becomes more citric and the mouthfeel is a touch light, tending towards watery.

Cloudy apple juice body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bubblegum, some clove, banana, light yeast. Taste is medium sweet, some orange, light banana, clove. Watery light body with low carbonation and no crispness.

Very hazy yellow, small, but frothy head. Aroma is sweetly lemony and camomily. Taste is slightly citrus, with hints of clove. Very nice, very surprising effort by such a small brewery.

This beer was a hazy yellow color and formed a bubbly white head that left some nice lace as it subsided. An aroma of hops, clove and corinader. A flavor of hops, clove and corindar. A very refreshing finish. This is one of the best renditions of a German style hefe that I have seen a American brewer create. It really surprised me.
