Sample on tap at the brewpub. Good thin white head, leaving good full lace. Totally hazy pale yellow color. Nice smooth lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Light tart sweetness. Solid banana aroma. Light spice. A totally fine enjoyable hefe. chriso (7569) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2007
On tap at the brewpub. Very murky yellow/orange appearance - looked a little like pineapple juice. Good spicy clove aroma with some estery banana notes. Less in the flavour where it becomes more citric and the mouthfeel is a touch light, tending towards watery.

On tap at the brewpub in July 2009.
Pours a cloudy yellow color with a slight white head and not too much lacing. Nose brings some fairly strong clove and spice notes. A moderate amount of banana. The taste is some slight wheat as well as clove, banana, and hints of bubblegum. Moderate body with good carbonation. Was a nice, drinkable brew after a long summer day.

On tap at South Street; poured a cloudy straw color with not much head by the time it got to me. Nose was a bit floral, with not as much banana and spice as I like. Flavor was just ok; not as pronounced as it could have been. Some banana, spice and fruit. Not a great example of the style, but not real bad either. hershiser2 (3410) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 24, 2004
Very hazy yellow, small, but frothy head. Aroma is sweetly lemony and camomily. Taste is slightly citrus, with hints of clove. Very nice, very surprising effort by such a small brewery. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 9, 2009
Draft. Pours a hazy, dirty yellow with a creamy, off white head. Yeast, biscuit, and lemon in the nose. Medium low carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Citrus, yeast, a little dough, and a slight metallic note on the palate. Medium short finish with a lingering bitterness. Kind of watery. Left great lacing though.
