on tap at the brewery; clear amber color; a very light amber ale; almost no aroma; really light, mild, bready, caramel malt and light citrus hops; very well balanced, but could use some more body Iphonephan (6989) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - SEP 1, 2015

4oz pour at Spacebar. Amber with faint white head. A: mild caramel malt, bread. T: same, but adds an unpleasant earthy tone, resulting in a fairly bland dirt beer. Not a fan. rondphoto (4455) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 15, 2015
On tap @ South Street / Charlottesville VA --- Clear rich medium mahogany amber, white head cover, sheets of lace. Taste is dry malt that balances sweet and bitter nicely in a solid light brew. Easy to see why it’s Sputh Street’s most popular brew.

Nice aroma. Promising appearance. Smooth but no kick. ABV too low. Would not be bad on a hot day but would have to be mid-80's. Too weak to recommend for my beer buddies. Not enough taste to impress. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Poured from 12 oz. bottle.
Clear, medium-dark amber with a 2-finger off-white head and good lacing.
Aroma of caramel, toffee, toast and Italian plums.
Taste of toast, caramel, toffee, light chocolate, apples and plums.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
A bit like an amber Scottish ale--malty and mildly sweet, but toasty.
