Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, malty, light grain. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration, spicy ? Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel - and so is the flavor too with a slightly bitter finish. joergen (29598) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2008

Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, some mild toffee, grass and herbal notes. Flavour is wood, sweetness and some slight earthyness and fruits. Quite far from any Alt I’ve had before...
Bottle. Clear dark brown, small off white head. Aroma of caramel, taste is similar, with a bit of hoppy bitterness toward the end. Very light body.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clearnut broen, small head. Buttery nose. Mid-sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lightly roasty, never earthy nor soft. Feels like a simple sketch of an altbier. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours ever so slightly hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Lightly sweet malt aroma. Medium body with vague caramel notes and a dry finish. Decent if not exactly thrilling. 310507 Leighton (22769) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2009
Pretty good beer. Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a light brown with almost no head and little lace retention. Faint aroma, almost undetectable, of light and sweet malts. Flavor is interesting, not like my usual fare. Sweet and malty up front with - what’s that? - some traces of fruitiness. After the initial taste the flavor morphs into something more bitter with some noticeable hop character. Light to medium in body with nice carbonation. This beer leaves a slightly bitter, sticky aftertaste, somewhat akin to an IPA. Very sneaky, Mr. Altbier. I’ll have to try this again. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2008
Bottle. AMber color, creamy offwhite head. Hoppy floral aroma, malty notes, milky, vanilla and some cream. Malty vanilla flavor, milky, creamy and with toffee notes. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2011
Bottle, 12oz, courtesy of Enjoyit. A clear, dark copper body with an off-white head. Caramel maltyness on the nose, slightly roasted. A tad fruityness too. Dry on the palate, medium body. The flavor has caramel, some roasted malts and a hint of nuts. Nothing very interesting, but quite tasteful anyway. 110129
