12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/23/2013. Pours slightly cloudy orange copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of orange zest, grapefruit, pear, floral, caramel, toast, bread, grass, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of hop and malt notes; with fairly weak strength. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, pear, apple, caramel, toast, brown bread, floral, pine, grass, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of earthy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, light fruit, caramel, brown bread, toast, pine, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of hop and malt flavors with light yeast fruitiness; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good English IPA style. Nice balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - AUG 28, 2013
12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice sweet hop note to it with grapefruit goodness within. Not a real big malt characteristic but the fruity hops is good enough for me. Appearance is a golden color with just a hint of amber hue and a large white head that lingers. Taste is really nice and balanced nice up front hop punch with a more subtle malt coming through and the backing. Palate has got a lingering pine note from the hops and a little bit of the malt. Overall, Really balanced and well made brew in my honest opinion. Cheers! Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists of caramel, herbal notes, and faint grass. It pours a transparent copper with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is some thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light -moderate caramel with a touch of fruit. The finish has some herbal notes, grassy hops, and a touch of spice. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. hershiser2 (3667) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2013
Bottle, $1.90 from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours a refreshing golden amber with a small head. Smells of lightly sweet hops, some malts, and light fruits. Flavor is lightly flowery hops, some roasted malts, and finishes with a bitter ting. A bit soapy. Not bad, but not one of my favorites. Maverick34 (3304) - New York, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Bottled. Color is...unclear due to the bottle. But guesstimate orangey yellow. Strong hops citrus hit and malts. Pretty decent.

Clear amber color with ivory head. Caramel, marshmallow, tea leaf, floral aromas. Medium body average co2. Sharp caramel flavors with lightly astringent tea leaf, sweet marshmallows----decent BiereLuc (1276) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 30, 2013
An oddly mild IPA, lacking that long bitter finish. Its nose is mild with unusual aromas for an IPA. The flavor is at least pretty standard, but nothing much to write home about. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Bottle. Nose is quite hop forward with some nice little grassy notes in this one. Taste is somewhat bitter up front, buthas just a hint of sweetness on the back end. Decently drinkable, but not overly complex. emacgee (4705) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Pours a clean and soft light copper amber with one finger of off white head. Nose is herbal and earthy with a light caramel sweetness and touch of dactyl/butterscotch. Very nice flavor, big floral notes upfront with a nice crisp bitterness. Leafy and citrusy notes on the back of the mouth with some bite on the finish. Light bodied and dry. I really enjoyed this one.
