Bottle from The Food Emporium, 1175 3rd Avenue, New York City. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hop, fruit, veg, malt, light herb and chocolate. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bittersweet and caramel finish. SONOFWODEN (77) - New York, USA - MAY 15, 2017
This IPA and Dogfish 60 were on tap at local restaurant on Mother’s Day. I chose Dogfish but they were out. Tried this Burton IPA in a bottle. Clear golden color, 3/4 inch head which dissipated a little too quickly for me, medium body. Fairly basic, nothing special. I was expecting more flavor, more hop character from even a single IPA. There was some bitter at the end, but otherwise fairly blah. foyle (435) - North Carolina, USA - NOV 13, 2016
Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass.
A thicky, frothy off white head drops slowly with abundant lacing. Color is hazy yellow-light amber with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma of citrus rind and earthy hops and turned fruit, along with white bread dough. Medium bodied with a damp finish. Flavors of citrus rind, grapefruit, floral, along white bread and raisin in the background. A good English style IPA. Bill Becker (2003) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Pours a clear copper with plenty of foam sitting on top.
Smells of caramel malt, fruity, with a pleasant bitterness.
Kinda sweet and bready from the malt, hops bring fruity and flowery flavours.
Bottle has 06A16 stamped; I reckon that would be a best before vs bottled on date. westknife (80) - New York City, New York, USA - JUN 23, 2016
This is a fuckin delicious IPA. It came in a brown-colored bottle and it was 12 ounces.

Sure there is a it of hops but there isn’t much more. It’s a little on the boring side. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2015
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy dark straw toward brown with 1-finger, frothy, off-white head. Nose is noble hops, caramel malt, mild oak. Tastes malty, hoppy, with some earthy and oaky notes, and a hoppy British bitter-like finish. HighlanderOne (1393) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - JUL 18, 2015
Poured from bottle. Getting more malt than hop in aroma. Good lookin gold with lacing. Floral and citrus hops along with roasts malt and slightly sweet. Not quite as hoppy as other AIPAs, but that’s ok. Feel is crisp and dry. Well done. sinfull (1845) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUL 9, 2015
