From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 20. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished head. Heavy and soapy spiced aroma. Flavour is slight berry flavoured with a mild herbal note. Ends mellow with quite spiced finish. Sadly WAY overspiced.

A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet and contains lots of notes of flowers and spices as well as hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet with lots of flower notes. Thanks a lot to Mike (Eyedrinkale) for trading me this one.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Hazy golden with a tall and lively, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweet, floral aroma. Medium body with a solid, pale malt base with very fruity and perfumed floral accents - lots of lavender in particular. Theres a vague, underlying tartness while the bitterness is very discreet. Interesting. 021107

7.7% Bottle. Cloudy amber beer. Light lemon and flowers nose. Quite low carbonation in the light palate. A little dry. Sweet complex beer. There is a light perfume sweetness from the various flowers and a bitterish aftertaste I think from the Lavender. The chamomile and rose are seamlessly blended. Finishes neutral palate with more floral sweetness. Unique and highly enjoyable.

750 ml bottle. Golden yellow color, medium white head, medium lacing. Aroma of malt. Taste is a bit sweet, bright, with a thin body. A bit on the boring side.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2010 Bottle. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a mild, soft white head. Holds a floral, honey aroma. Flavor is very sweet, with lots of malty notes and carame, as well as an intriguing honeysuckle character. Medium in body with light carbonation. Finishes sweet, with lingering honey and faint bitterness. Recently had a 2007 bottle in 2010. Excellent. Bumping rating up 2/10 of a point.

Cloudy blond color; creamy head. Very strong herbal aroma (mhyrtle...), then some light fruitness and rubber. Medium body strength, medium sweetness, a bit malty, spicy (cardamom), fruity. Weird mix, but good.

Pale and hazy with a big head. Very floral aroma but also with an assertive breadcrusty character and nice dry-hops. Herbal, floral characer with hints of both sweetness and astringency. The yeasty finish is quite dry.

Bottle, 75cl corked. (RBNAG 07) Sure a quite special beer, but a real beauty. Pours a mostly clear, golden body with a white head. The flavor is flowery, slightly sweetish and with a pleasant spicyness from cinnamon and some ginger. The flavors has the same flowery and spicy approach, and theres a malty, sugary background. Medium to full body. Long, sweetish finish with some ginger. Just lovely, pour me another one. (071103)
