’96 Bottle, thanks Seth. Clear golden pour with a white head. Mild sour aromas. Mildly sour stone fruit and big malty notes. Oak and vanilla undercurrents. Good body and mouthfeel. biggsbowler (625) - Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2014
Bottle ’96 - Pours golden yellow. Aroma is wine, white grapes, and slight malty. Light, refreshing with wheaty / malty taste with some a grape. Very good, would really enjoy this on a summer day by myself. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 20, 2014
Pour from bottle at Zwanze Day 2014. 2011 Vintage. Pour is hazy orange with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Funky, earthy, somewhat grassy, some stone fruits, biscuit, and urine in the aroma. Taste is deep and earthy peach skin, some salt, light lemons, urine, some cheese and wax with a lighty sour finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Has definitely lost a little but still get a lot of stone fruit and highly drinkable. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2014
2011 bottle. BBT3 tasting. Poured a hazy golden color with an off white head. Woody, grapes, lemons/citrus, earthy, and some funkiness. Godofthecellar (677) - NYC, New York, USA - APR 4, 2013
2011. Funky, barnyard yeast with strong notes of cheese and citrus in the nose. Taste open up funky, quickly turning sour as if blended with a 3F geuze. Grapes, spice, and further yeast complexity round it out. I'm fortunate enough to have tried this a few times, and it earns best-of-style accolades from me each time. Need more!

In short: A part-rustic and part-Sour blond ale with plenty of white grapes. Good original creation.fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2012
How: Bottle 750ml, 2011 vintage, so probably around 1 year of age. Bottle from yopdoog, thanks a lot Trevor.
The look: Cloudy dark blond body topped by a small white head.
In long: Nose has plenty of fresh white grapes with a rustic yeast character bringing a dusty attic sensation. Taste is also loaded with fresh white grapes, crackery neutral malts, little salty notes, rustic yeast character. Medium tartness, mild-medium sourness, medium acidity. Overall very fruity (the grapes cannot be misted), rustic and with a semi-sour character that surely comes from the barrel aging. Starts very juicy fruity and ends very dry and with acidity and sourness. This beer is as much a Fruit Beer as it is a Saison as it is a Sour/Wild Ale. Quite nice. That’s a rare beer I’ve been wanting to try for a long time, I knew it would come my way eventually because I believe in Destiny, when Destiny says "if you touch me again I’ll get you thrown out of the club" I keep my hands off her.

[ Courtesy of henrikb ]. ABV: 6.8%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread - cookie, toasted - caramel, fruity - grape, light to moderate yeasty, grape - fruity. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, grape, fruity, tart grape, sour ? tart fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Opened this bottle for Todd’s 30th birthday. Been trying to find this beer forever, so happy to finally try it. Pouts a golden orange in color with a half finger worth of tight white head. It’s hazy in clarity. Nose is juicy white grape, mineral, and some stone fruit. It’s alluring, but doesn’t overwhelm your senses. Flavor follows the nose with more juicy white grape and mineral in the forefront. There is some very gentle band aid in the middle, and finishes with some saisons earthiness, more white grape, and lactic sourness. Mouthfeel is light, carbonation is moderate and slightly prickly, moderate acidity, and a long finish. This bottle lived up to the hype, it is near a perfect American wild. I will be actively pursuing another bottle immediately. McGrupp612 (144) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Golden pour with a small white head that quickly fizzles away. Sweet white grape meets tangy lactic acid in the aroma. As it warms, light spice notes emerge with subtle fruit and some earth. Flavor is sweet and juicy white grape interwoven seemlessly with a nice earthy saison. There is just enough tartness to keep the grape from overpowering. Medium to light body with good carbonation. I love the addition of sweet white grape to American sours and saisons. This was an amazing beer.
