Hazy golden color. Spicy and citrusy malty aroma. Dry mouthfeel, with good malt flavor, spicy, well bitter. Quite complex and interesting. Very good.
750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a very large white head. Aroma brings out loads of farmhouse notes, fruity esters, and some Belgian yeast. Flavour is very similar, with loads of farmhouse notes, Belgian yeast, a little banana, and slight fruity esters. Very farmhouse-dominant and yeasty, with a yeasty, fruity finish. Low-to-medium carbonation for a saison. Excellent stuff. Oakes (17642) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 8, 2007
Opaque peachy colour. Fresh spicy, peachy, dusty complex aroma. Very dry. Has a lot of musty attic character. Light spice and florals complement this. For me, the dryness is a bit astringent, the yeastiness too dominant and the carbonation too aggressive and distracting. TBone (17524) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 17, 2008

Pale yellow, a bit hazy color, floating yeast particles. Fruity, a bit sticky, glueish aroma, Belgian ale like, but perhaps not very Saison-like. Very American style Saison: fruity yeasty, peppery and a bit papery. Not bad, but lacking something .. depth?
Bottle, 75cl corked. (From trade with the_epeeist) Pours a nice golden body, slightly hazy, topped by a big, white head. The aroma was a bit disappointing, not that it was bad, it was just not pronounced enough. There’s yeast, hops, cellar, and some sweetness, most the aromas one could wish for, but as said, too subtle. It has a nice, sweet and hoppy flavor with a good bitterness, resin, sugar and a farmhouse touch to it, finishing with a lasting bitterness. Nice, effervescent, medium to fullbodied mouthfeel. It’s 7.4% ABV is well hidden, making it a very drinkable beer, and it’s sure refreshing too. (071228)

Bottle thanks to Brooha. Pours cloudy yellow gold with white head. Nose of yeast, ripe fruits, basement funk and orange rind. Taste is the same with a nice lemon zest finish. Nice full mouth feel. Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2007
75 cl. bottle: Pours unclear yellow/orange with a fine large egg white foam. Aroma is of yeast, wheat, spices & fruits (orange) Just the right amount of spices. Fresh & crisp. Smooth & soft. Filling body. Sparkling carbonation. Dry lasting end! Very nice - but this still misses something compared to the orig. Belgium ones! FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 27, 2008

Pale gold, tiny froth of a head once the initial pile had subsided. Corny, sweet aroma. Toffee-like sweet taste, sticky on the lips. Becomes a bit more treacly after a while. Not an amazing saison - not crisp or fresh, but a tempting succulent body and soft malty finish. Spoilt only by too much sticky sweetness.
750 c&c from Half Time. Pours dark hazy gold with a 4 finger foamy white head. Aromas of funky peach and citrus. Medium body with good carbonation. Flavor is funk and light stone fruit and barnyard. Finishes marvelous. With a little pepper. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2008
Bottle at ølbaren - cloudy yellow - white head. Yeasty, citrus, zesty, youghurt, spicy, fruity, milky, sweetness, sugar, white pepper. All the saison caracters, but it needs the crispness & freshness.
