Bottle. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of citrus (lemons), yeast, floral and a little bready. Tastes of citrus, light yeast, and light spices. Nice, refreshing and easy to drink. Alcohol content hidden. Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 21, 2007
Smells and looks like a saison. Barnyard aroma is there, as if by custom. SIgnificant head on lighter colour body. The surprise is the hoppiness moderated by fainter spice. Tasted closer to an ESB.
An entirely different saison than the regular saison, according to my notes. thewolf (12940) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2007
Bottle. [thanks to my good friend, Vicky, for bringing this from the States]deyholla (12588) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 9, 2010
Pours a clear golden yellow with a giant white head. It is creamy on top, and further down, it is very bubbly. There is an amazing amount of bubbles surging upwards. Nice spicy flavour. Ginger, oranges, coriander, wheat, yeast, lemons, melons and barnyard. Lively mouthfeel, but still rather creamy. Flavour is lightly vinious, more than other Saisons, I’ve tried. Flavours include a nice fruity hoppiness, lots of ginger, lemons. Very dry finish with a light tartness. I had to rate this before it became available in Denmark (which it is tomorrow :o) ). Really a good Saison, but the Belgians are funkier and more complex.
Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Poured a near clear cloudy orange with a fluffy white head that lasted. Aroma was full of spices with some cardamon and lots of floral and light fruit notes. Flavor was sweet with floral and fruit notes and lots of spice. The spices were a bit overwhelming. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 14, 2008
750ml bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky off white head and yellow color. Aroma is barnyard, yeasty, some earthy cheese notes, saaz/grassy hops. A Belgian Golden [Duvel] comes to mind. Taste is barnyard, yeasty, light malt-some sweetness, saaz-spicy hops. Dryish finish, a lot of carbonation. [taste reminds me of a slightly sweet Duvel]. Nice beer as an American Farmhouse style. Occasional. Thanks to jwc215(BA) for sharing.

Bottle... Cloudy yellow ale with a huge, fluffy, white head. Good retention. Spicy phenols and fuzzy fruit in the predominantly earthy nose; faint notes of vanilla and tangerine. Bitter and tart flavor. Lots of herbal, spicy hops. A touch of funk with no heavy alcohol. Medium to full-bodied with prickly carbonation. Finishes crisp, spicy and medium bitter. <B.Cheers to Growler for splitting this big bottle with me! faroeviking (11337) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 2, 2008
