Growler shared by Jcwattsrugger. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of beef jerky, roasted chocolate malt, smoked chocolate malt, dark fruit and dark bread. Medium body. Much less jerky in taste than the nose.
Draft... This beer rocks!... Pours pitch-black with a mid-sized, creamy, lightly tanned head that hangs around forever. The aroma is a fantastic swirl of fudge, toasted tree nuts, brownies and vanilla. Full-bodied and velvety with modest carbonation. The flavor features black mocha - deeply roasted espresso and burnt chocolate. Carbonic, bitter and slightly boozy in the lengthy finish.

Growler purchased at brewery, poured a dark back color with aromas of roast, chocolate syrup, coffee, light maple, and some earth. Flavors are the same with a little bitterness in the aftertaste, a nice little find from a new brewery. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2013
