This pale yellow beer poured with a fluffy white head and light floral aroma. The flavor is mostly missing, but there is a slight amount of citrus floating on a faint caramel malt base. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Golden straw, lively carbonation, moderate to large frothy white head, decent lacing.   Straw
like nose, a little cereal, slight grain, and a little bit of dried pasta?   Has a slight basil aspect, strange.
Fairly clean, nice grassiness from start to finish.   Decent amount of sweetness.   Moderate body and
mouthfeel.   Smidgen of straw, hay, and cereal like grains on the finish.   Seems flavorful, nice body, good
sipper.   Enjoyable!   Still remains good as it warms, which isn’t something I find as common.

A misleading name, it certainly looks and smells like a lager, in a not so good way. The flavor is a bit better though. Decent flavor, though a hint of butter seems to be coming through. It’s pretty good but maybe not as great as it’s apparent score. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2010
Purchased 22-oz bomber from Liquid Solutions. Pours a clear pale golden yellow colored brew with a thick white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of honey, citrus zest and a touch of bread. Taste is light to medium bodied, flavors of golden grain malt, citrus and floral hops and some bread dough and a hint of butter. Finish is crisp, light bitterness with a slowly disappearing golden grain and floral hop aftertaste. An ale with lager yeast? A little confusing but not in character. hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Too bad they did not name this "Gold Lager" instead of Gold Ale. This poured a very clear light gold with a medium white head and light lacing. Nose of light malts and some floral hops. Medium body and mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly bitter with some touches of citrus. Dry in the finish. Overall a quite decent lager and easy drinking. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - NOV 21, 2010
Tap @ Embers Brewhouse in Joseph, OR: Pours golden clean and very light head. Toasty biscuit and earth in the nose. Clean and thin flavor with a very nice hop note in the backend. Finishes pleasing and not too vegetal. A little touch of hops toward the tail, I like that in a lager. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 30, 2009
