Bomber shared with Joes: Served in tasters:
Brown black (dark ruby in light source) beer with a small to medium sized beige head.
Aromas of roast, chocomalts, dust, light coffee, light roast, very nice.
Flavours of lovely roast tones, chocolate, bitters, malt roast/toast, freaking easy drinker and thirstclenching with very nice dark tones!
Aftertaste is nice, soft and light roast, choclate, bitters...
Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Very well executed porter!

Deep, dark brown with quite a dense beige head. Roasted malt aroma with some charcoal. Dry texture with a taste of bitter chocolate. dwyerpg (6078) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 27, 2009
Smells a bit like coffee. This is good. Sweet, a hint fruity. A very complex finish with a lot of roast. A tasty beer. bpreo (2832) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 13, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2015 First of all, this is the best smelling beer I have ever had. The taste is just as good, and almost tastes as good as it smells. Almost. Still though, holy cow, this beer will surprise you.
Now that my palate was ruined by Falling Sky’s two behemoth 11+%ers, this Porter fails to break through. Gurthnar (5820) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle at a tasting. Tasty porter, initially on the sweet side, eventually balances out. Cocoa, chocolatey, soft creamy mouthfeel, high carbo. Only subtle roastiness. Light grassy hoppiness. Great, tasty, easy drinking.

Bottle. Pours very dark brown, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dried fruits, nuts and just a hint of roastiness. In taste chocolate, fruits, light smoke. Low sweetness, softly carbonated, dry finish with medium bitterness. All is silky and smooth. Great porter. Strykzone (7308) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 20, 2010
Thanks Hayduke. This looks like a porter but with is exceptional with a thicker than usual head that has good staying power. Aroma is roasted malt with lots of thick rich dark fruit, chocolate and a bit of smoke. Feel is fizzy which is a pleasant surprise. It also feels more substantial than the typical porter. Flavor is similar to the flavor. Finish is chocolate with dark fruit. Porter is one of my favorite styles and this one is near the top of the heap. Very well done! leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 7, 2010
Dark brown with a thin tan head, chocolate malt aroma, coffee and chocolate flavor, some caramel a little residual sweetness. Finish is a little tart slightly thin mouthfeel. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Deep brown, nearly black, moderate to large foamy beige head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet
roasted malts on the nose.   Smells inviting.   Oh wow!   Smooth roastiness on the tongue, semi-sweet, a
litle lactose sweetness, and a great body.   This is silky smooth and delicious.   This one I am surprised by
as many seem to be acrid and too thin.   This has a great malt base, smooth malts to back up the soft hop
bitterness.   Very flavorful.   This might be one of my new favorite Porters from Oregon.   Smidgen of
dark chocolate too.   This one is very very nice.   Recommended! zoucrew102 (1820) - - MAY 2, 2014
Bomber, from friends in Oregon. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate and coffee. Pours dark brown with one finger of tan head with excellent retention and very little lacing. Roasted malt flavors with coffee slightly overpowering the chocolate undertones, but not badly. Finishes smooth with more of the chocolate coming through on the palate at the very end. Solid porter.
