Ceramic, swing-top bottle. Once out of the beautiful bottle, this looks liek a standard pour. Slightly hazy amber, nothing but a thin head. This drinks liek a well-made, unoffensive, and technically perfect, but lackluster light ale. Smooth, without impression either good or bad. Hey, ’clean’ is a great compliment in brewing. Is this really 7.6%!? You’d never know. Danger, Will Robinson. (#5044, 5/30/2013) Emeister84 (2574) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAY 26, 2013
Aromas of toast, flora, mild caramel, a touch of lemon, and a hint of sugar cookies. Clear dark orange with a fully lasting, off-white head. Dry and fruity, with flavors of coconut, banana, and golden raisins, with some grassy hops at the end. Light-medium bodied with fluffy carbonation, abd a dry fruity finish. zickbeer_ye (441) - Virginia, USA - MAY 26, 2013

Bright orange in color with a bright white head, this is a pretty darned good Biere de Garde. Smooth and soft in the nose, it’s earthy and sweet... but gently so. It’s full in the mouth, with a neat woody, barnyardy flavor that’s sweet and really enjoyable. Smooth, soft, and nice! angrypirate06 (1388) - Texas, USA - APR 19, 2013
Growler thanks to Mora(in the year)2000. Clear gold pour. Nose is cereal, grainy and noble hop. Flavor is cereal, grains. Nice mouthfeel.

Yellow with a white head. The aroma is full of biscuit with some grain thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get a little bit of grass from the hops, as well as some yeast, biscuit and grain. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not bad, but not near worth the $19 it cost for the fancy swingtop bottle. blutt59 (6576) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 6, 2013
Swing top at Mora,s prebtbf, clear golden color with no head, floral sweet fruit flavors, aroma is sweet malty fruit, medium finish bhensonb (15621) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 3, 2013
750 swingtop ceramic from France 44. Pours translucent orange amber with a transient off-white head. Aroma of earthy cooked light pitted fruit. Med body. Moderate carb. Flavor is very surprising. It suggests caramel/treacle, light pitted fruit, and a little floral/earthy hop. Seems a bit maltier than appropriate. As time moves on the light pitted fruit steps forward. It’s trying to finish towards earthy/dry. Maybe it will get there. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Ceramic bottle that pours a bit stiff. Bright gold with a small head and little retention. Nose is light yeast, bready. Taste is a bit stale, with some light yeast and a faint hop profile. A bit of a mixed up beer, almost like a pale ale/saison. Just a taster would be fine here. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - FEB 13, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 17, 2013 A welcomed mild funk aroma. Yeasty fragrances are dominate. Pours a clear copper with a disisapating off-white head and no lacing. The inital taste of light sweet malts is quick and just when you think it’s over a blast of malted nuttiness hits you and lingers on finally giving way to a fulfilling grainy aftertast. Medium body with soft carbonation. Mouthfeel is soft. Overall, not what I expected from a Bière de Garde, but one I will drink again. More malty than crisp and citrusy.
