Strong golden color, with a copper tint. White head is pure and settles to a thin coating on the top. The aroma is bready, biscuity, malty, and bitter. The head holds a white film which is quite nice, and the lacing is big, sparce, and sporadic simultaneously. Nice spicey hops in the aroma too. The flavor is old, musty, yeasty, blonde, thick ale and its good and refreshing with a crisp palate. Braudog (6674) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 30, 2013
Ceramic, swing-top bottle. Once out of the beautiful bottle, this looks liek a standard pour. Slightly hazy amber, nothing but a thin head. This drinks liek a well-made, unoffensive, and technically perfect, but lackluster light ale. Smooth, without impression either good or bad. Hey, ’clean’ is a great compliment in brewing. Is this really 7.6%!? You’d never know. Danger, Will Robinson. (#5044, 5/30/2013) Ratman197 (14680) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 28, 2013

Flip-cap ceramic bottle. Pours a deep cheddar orange with a nose of movie theater popcorn, light grain, subtle honey, and a touch of toasted rose. Flavor is kettle corn with a light glazing of caramel. Mmmm... Thick on the tongue. Very enjoyable. A bottle of this over a bucket of popcorn at the movies? bhensonb (15088) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 3, 2013
750 swingtop ceramic from France 44. Pours translucent orange amber with a transient off-white head. Aroma of earthy cooked light pitted fruit. Med body. Moderate carb. Flavor is very surprising. It suggests caramel/treacle, light pitted fruit, and a little floral/earthy hop. Seems a bit maltier than appropriate. As time moves on the light pitted fruit steps forward. It’s trying to finish towards earthy/dry. Maybe it will get there.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2013 A welcomed mild funk aroma. Yeasty fragrances are dominate. Pours a clear copper with a disisapating off-white head and no lacing. The inital taste of light sweet malts is quick and just when you think it’s over a blast of malted nuttiness hits you and lingers on finally giving way to a fulfilling grainy aftertast. Medium body with soft carbonation. Mouthfeel is soft. Overall, not what I expected from a Bière de Garde, but one I will drink again. More malty than crisp and citrusy. Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Ceramic bottle is a very cool design. Snifter pour. Beautiful golden pour with small head. No lacing. Aroma of sweet ripe fruits such as bananas and pineapples, bread, and fresh cut hay. Taste is similar. Sweet, smooth, fruits, and little carbonation. Smooth mouth and sweet, fruity finish. I liked it. ben4321 (6412) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 18, 2013

Aroma: The aroma is bready malts, some fruity notes, spice, and some cooked veggies
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a small, fizzy white head and some drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is much t he same, bready, a little sweet, mild bitterness, and light vegetation
Palate: The body is fairly light, it is pretty fizzy on the mouth, and it finishes lightly dry
First off, I love this bottle. Great design, and just great in general. If I lived here I would save this one for brewing for sure. As for the beer, it is only okay. I mean it feels like they did a solid job here, but. It just isn’t really all that exciting of a beer. This one is plenty worth trying I would say.
A very interesting beer. Added a point for the beautiful hand drawn bottles. Pours a clear yellow. Smells of peaches and white wine. Lots of white wine in the taste that drinks easy with peaches and tropical fruit. Tasted at the BevMo Holiday Beer Fest. marcus (10145) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Bottle shared by my friend John. Pours cloudy blonde with a modest off-white head and a green tea aroma. There is a funky pale malt flavor with some light fruit and a dry finish.
