Poured into a tulip.
3.0 A: Hazed orange plum color. Two fingers of frothy beige head. Retention is average, but not lacing is left.
3.5 S: Earthy foremost, grainy, toasted malts, nutty, and perhaps slightly herbal. It smells good, but it’s just too damn faint.
4.0 T: Taste is more aggressive and I’m thrilled about that. Super grainy, toasty, nutty with a light caramel. Fairly dry. Nonspecific earthiness. Tasty and well balanced.
3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Just faintly creamy. Decent here.
3.5 D: This is a very tasty beer, but the taste could you some more power and the nose could use a lot. Still, I enjoyed this much.

Hazy red/copper pour with no head. Aroma is bread, sweet caramel, and fruit. Taste is the same with bitterness in the finish. Slightly.metallic after taste. beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 12, 2012
12 oz. can courtesy of a trade with crajun. Pours a hazy dirty gold with a thin-moderate off-white head that evaporates before the second sip and leaves no lace. Pleasant aroma of toffee and caramel. The flavor is where this beer falls apart a bit. Toffee and butterscotch along with a bit of overripe fruit. Very mild bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Not a fan. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 29, 2012
Hazy orange/amber pour, not much of a head. Aroma is full on caramel malt, honey and some overripe fruit notes. Flavor has honeycomb, orange, caramel. Not so great. rougeau13 (3008) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 14, 2012
Slightly hazy reddish amber with a medium, milky, off white head. Aroma of caramel and bread, pear, and a touch of funky Belgian yeast. Taste is really malty with a little fruit sweetness. The flavor is really lacking in complexity. Medium bodied with flattish carbonation. Had this on tap and from the can, and it’s really not very good either way.

On tap at Richmond Arms. Pours a cloudy coppet with large white head leaving sticky along the glass. The aroma is yeast and pepper. Medium mouthfeel with a raisin malt and metallic finish. Easy to drink a decent biere de garde from Southern Star. DSG (14764) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 25, 2012
Bottle sample at a spring beers tasting at Norma Jean. Hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, spicy herbal notes and malt. Sweetish flavor with some malt, a bit of caramel, fruits, some yeasty notes and a drier finish with some spicy notes. Medium-bodied. kerenmk (4751) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 23, 2012
Can sample at a spring tasting courtesy of beerandbeyond. Pours dark amber, a little hazy with a white head. Smells of baked apples and buns and tastes grainy bitter and plastic-ish. There’s a hint of sweetness in the finish, lively carbonation and light body. newcigarz (42) - Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Pours a rusty color with a thin cream colored head. Smells of bread and damp basement. Taste is thin and light with some caramel notes Glad I got to try it. Not terrible, but not great either. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2012
It has a hazy medium amber color with a rapidly disapearing off white head. The nose is grainy and the over all taste follows suit - grains, toast with hints of caramel malt. It has a medium to light body with a smooth lightly carbonated mouthfeel. No bitterness and a long lasting pleasant grainy aftertaste. Completely satisfying. Would buy again.
