Pours an orange color with a small white head. Notes of caramel, apples, and earth. Not too exciting.

1.7
Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Can from pikapp327. Lighter orange pour with a small white head. Aroma is bland, vaguely, tangy, and mint? Taste is buttery, light citrus, and off grain. Awkward finish.

3.5
SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Pours brown, like the color of iced tea, with a small off-tan fizz. Smells mildly fruity with a strong caramel, toffee malt base. Taste is less than the aroma, hints of fruit and toffee, but tastes a little off. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and decent mouth-carbonation, Southern Star Le Mort Vivant finishes with a cloying, herbal sort of aftertaste.

2.5
dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Looks like apple juice with a splash of cranberry. A bit of off-white head early on but quickly fades. Aroma is fruity and earthy. Very sweet and a little effervescent on the tongue.

2.8
travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Amber bright color. Light beige colored head. Clear. The smell is fruity esters, play dough, bready. Sort of off, reminds me of some homebrews that I did not think we’re overly successful. Getting a little better as it warms. Fruit taste, coastal straw, bread, and yeast.
