Pours bronze with a dense tan head. The aroma has toasted caramel malt, a bit of butter and a small hint of hops. Medium body with a bit of spritzy carbonation on the finish. The flavor starts with toasty malt, skim milk and hops that are earthy, woody and dirty. The finish is slickish and quite milky still. I’m not sure if this is fresh bottle or not, but it certainly seems to be missing something.

Can courtesy of lb4lb Pours a nice reddish copper color with a huge creamy head that leaves lots of sticky lacing on the sides of my glass. Aroma is malt, hops, pine, caramel. Flavor is caramel, pine, citrus. Nice mouthfeel and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Good brew, thanks Deniz!

Can at the 2008 pre-Brewers’ Jam Warmup. Pours hazy amber with thin beige head. The aroma is tangerine, pine, light caramel. The flavor is pineapple, pine, caramel, with a nice even bitterness in the finish. There’s a slight melon note in the aftertaste. Not too shabby.

Can shared by Suttree at the Pre-Brewer’s Jam Tasting. Poured orange with a thin off-white head that thins to a ring. Aroma of pine with a caramel backing. The flavor is much the same but flipped. Caramel with a pine backing, also so citrus. Medium body, medium bitterness, lively carbonation.

Suttree’s 2008 Pre-Brewer’s Jam Tasting. Sample from a can thanks to Suttree. Pale clear light amber color the noticeable carbonation builds a steady cover of cream colored head. Potent hoppy aroma, piney with some caramel malts. Light bodied caramel and some breadiness with more pine, sticky sap hops to finish.

16oz can courtesy of DrHomolka. Pours a clear amber with a 2 finger foamy cream colored head with some spotty lacing. Nose is toffee and ripe citrus. Taste is caramel malt upfront with overripe tangerines dominating the flavor until some resin bite in the finish cleans it up. Lighter mouth feel. This is a good American Pale, and bonus points for the can. Thanks for sending this Dan!

16oz can from thickfreakness, shared with my gf cyn. Pours deep orange with a big tan head. Nose is extremely flavorful with a lot of citrus. This goes right along with the taste that is very well defined and drinkable with a lot of character.

16 oz can, via bu11zeye. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a nice frothy one inch light beige head. Pretty good retention. The nose is light floral hops and slightly grainy caramel maltiness. Pretty bitter given how light the hops were in the nose, it’s grassy and leafy with a little too much crystal malt going on that gives it that annoying stale iced teal like quality, especially on the finish. Fairly short finish. Mouthefeel is light bodied with a bit of a sticky crystal malt character that makes it not especially crisp. Moderate soft fizzy carbonation. Overall, a fairly forgettable APA, but not the worst.
