Deep dark amber coloured body with a thick, 3 centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pungent resinous and piney hops with a good deal of malt as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty and hop flavours at first with a big resinous and hoppy finish with a noticeable alcohol bite and a pungent earthy, nutty and caramel finish. Overall, a nice and strong beer - full-bodied with a big flavour profile and a nice rich flavour that lasts! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from The Charleston Beer Exchange in Charleston, South Carolina on 30-April-2015 for US$2,37 sampled on the train from Washington to New York on 18-June-2015.

Taste of the same with more hops and malt on the back end. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. gkeh (484) - Texas, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Mohagany pour with a straight white head that leaves really good retention. Aroma is resin and pine, with an underlying caramel sweetness. Oak is present in the taste, as is pine and earthy hop character. Medium to full body, very dry finish. Good stuff. onceblind (10342) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 28, 2014

a little sweet and malty, with pine and citrus in the nose and flavor but hidden a little under waves of malt. adequately bitter and hearty. ok, but not a favorite. dlihcsnatas (767) - Temple, Texas, USA - JUL 21, 2014
Hazy brown brew with a thick tan head that stics to the side of the glass. Smells of pine and caramel. Taste is simular with the addition of a dry resin. Good bitterness that does allow the caramel malts to show through. While this is a really great brew it does come with a bigger sticker price than most. Would knock down my overall due to price but since a portion is going to help our wildlife I can’t complain too much and will stick to my original overall score. I do love being outdoors and think everyone should do thier part to take care of our wildlife and stop trashing up the place. jerseyjohn71 (309) - Corsicana, Texas, USA - JUL 5, 2014

Pours a nice clear red color with off-white head. Pine, some caramel malt, citrus, and resin on the nose, very hoppy; follows onto the palate. Very good DIPA, plays around with being a hoppy amber too.
