Had this while it was Pro-Am 2012, reviewed from notes: Pours a nice clear amber color with white head. Pine, citrus, and floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Lots of hop resin on the palate. Very nice. Modularman (133) - - MAY 30, 2014

12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a cream-colored head. Aroma of floral and resinous and lightly citrusy hops, some pale and caramel malts, and dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A pretty standard double IPA. docsteigs (542) - Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Appearance is clear medium to dark copper with lacy proteinaceous head with good retention. Hops dominate nose with pine predominant with some background citrus and earth. Taste is well balanced between bitterness and malt. Hops presence is experienced primarily through bitterness as opposed to flavor. Mouthfeel is rich but not syrupy and appropriate to style.

Dark Amber brew with lots of pinish hop aroma. Thick beer that had the hop flavor that was expected but too much sweetness from the malts. Seemed almost like it should have been allowed to ferment longer to take down the sweetness. For the price would like to have had better and a bottle rather than the can. ttoadee (1491) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Bronze pour, thin but resolute head. Nose is caramel and pine. Bittersweet. Coats the tongue. Middle is sweet malt and bright citrus fruit. Finish is LONG bitterness! You don’t taste the alcohol but you do feel it. Floater (1) - - FEB 19, 2014 does not count
Poured from the 1 Pint, 0.9 fluid ounce edition. Appearance is amber to orange in color, cloudy with floaters, decent head that laces the glass through a few sips. Aroma is nice but the taste is hard to figure out and at first seems beyond bitter to chemical/astringent, and then my palate seemed to adjust a little improving satisfaction. I’m a fan of IPA’s and this one falls in the middle of it ... better than most I’ve brewed but room for improvement.
