Excited for #100!..... This one pours an enticing copper/orange with just a hint of haze. Plentiful pine aroma, with hints of bubblegum, lemon zest and alcohol soaked fruit. The taste is pretty potent, with a wallop of heavy hops on the front end that pretty much stays around till the next drink. Not much in the way variation, this is all IPA.... The palate was more sticky and a bit more soapy than I prefer, but still drinkable. Washes down a bit slow, could have had a bit more carbonation. At 9.2% abv, you certainly feel it by the end of the bottle! Well, the first 100 ratings have been a pleasure....I have found that there is not a beer I dislike, just some I like more than others! I find it hard to believe it took me so long to discover all the choices of great beer out there....the craft brew market is incredible right now. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy a good, cold Budweiser after mowing the lawn, but sometimes you just need something with more of a spectrum of flavors, hops and body. Prosit my friends! Beer, it’s the best damn drink in the world. Jack Nicholson

12 oz can. (Spec’s) Austin, TX.
Cloudy orangey amber color with a small white head. Sweet fruity hops, sweetness, marmalade, strong sweet malt and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is dark hops, sweetness, moderate bitterness and resin. Dark and sweet.

Scent a bit funky, like a bunch of yeast. Pours a nice cloudy caramel color. Looks like a nice IPA should. Taste is a bit bitter with an aftertaste that lingers. Not bad, but there are better IPAs out there.

Can shared in London - picked up in Austin. Pours clear deep gold with a frothy, white head. Crackers pale malts in the nose, some rindy orange, light pine. Light sweet flavor with more rindy citrus, bitter grass, pine, pale bread, crackers. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. shadey (2135) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 18, 2016
12oz can. Pour is orange with a fluffy head of tight white bubbles that quickly diminishes to a thin layer. Aroma is hoppy, but alcoholic. The flavor is bitter hops followed by a slightly sticky malt sweetness. The finish is almost honey-ish.

drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - MAR 28, 2016
2/26/16. On tap at Metlzer’s BBQ. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Floral, earthy aroma, some citrus, caramel, doughy. Malty flavor, not enough fresh hop character, some citrus, floral, earthy, caramel. Eh.

bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - FEB 4, 2016
Draft. Pours golden hazy with a big white head. Looks fresh. Big piney nose which translates over to the taste. This is a very fresh and easily drank beer for 9%. Heard that they are going to put this beer on hiatus.
