This is the 2014 215 Special Ale version. Mini growler fill at brewery. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, and what I can only describe as xmas spices. Taste was pretty much the same, but the spices took over. I was kind of surprised because I wasn’t expecting that. Medium body and carbonation. Mildy bitter to start, but finishes more bitter.

Shared growler at Craft Ale House June 11. 2013. Poured clear gold with off-white head. Nose was hopcitrus, pale malt, mild funk. Tasted crisp, with hops, lemony citrus, some breadiness, and mild finishing tartness.

It’s light & drinkable & a step up from blue moon. Not one of southern tier’s better efforts but I guess it works for a 90 degree day like today. Certainly forgettable but not terrible. Blah

keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - JUN 25, 2013
On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: The body is golden with a lot of haze, appearing opaque. The head is thin and short lived, only a thin ring is left.
Aroma: The aroma is mild with lemon and some sulfur and light malts.
Taste: Light malts with some citrus ranging from lemon to hints of orange are throughout, some toasted notes and a semi-dry finish.
Palate: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Whatever this is, it’s boring and unappealing to me. Pass.

MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2013
On draft at Blue Monkey. I did like the nice hop presence, and good amount of caramel malt. However, it didn’t wow me. It was thin in the body, slightly soapy. But drinkable.

closey22 (2101) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Cloudy yellow no head; looks like grapefruit juice; spicy aroma of flowers Flava is flowery and citric like grapefruit; feels light and crisp; finishes dry and slightly tart

rosenbergh (11799) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 20, 2011
Draught at the brewery.
Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Aroma is exotic fruity (citrus, pineapple) pleasant smooth bitterness combined with some sweetness. Citrusy hops and bitterness in dryish summery fresh flavour. Slightly watery. Bitterness stays forever.

alobar (3914) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2011
Pours a straw yellow color with a tall white soapy head. Powerful pine and citrus aroma with a citrus, pine flavor with some caramel sweetness and a crisp hop ending. Very nice beer.
