The aroma is okay. The palate is lacking and does not have much going on. It does not seem to have a definitive taste.

Cervesa molt maltosa i acaramelada, també té un petit regust amarg. Cerveza muy maltosa y acaramelada, también tiene un pequeño regusto aromático.

[Tap] Draught at WOB in Evanston. Poured into snifter. Even amber color with a dense white head. Sweet malty aroma of rye, caramel, wood and some fruit. Earthy and dusty malts mix with bitter resinous hops. Well hidden ABV. Hard to pinpoint it, but I enjoyed this and found it pretty drinkable.

larsga (7540) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 6, 2014
Small offwhite head. Clear amber body. Syrupy fruity aroma with strawy notes. Dry-sweet fruity perfumy earthy taste with mealy raisiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy fruity funky aftertaste with resiny powdered sugar notes. Nice. Drinkable. Balanced. (0.33l bottle, at Olympen, Oslo.)

Clear orange, very small off white head. Aroma a little fruity, with some grainy malt. Medium body. Not much alcohol. Flavor is sweet but not too syrupy. At first some malt, a tad bland but brightens up with a crisp hoppy finish. Not bad. What’s next, double light lagers?

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Clear copper colour. Half-inch white head, reduces fairly quickly, but leaves a nice band of lacing. Aroma of almonds, oxidized butter, caramel, pineapple, wood. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice mouthfeel, refreshing without being watery. Taste is semisweet, gradually turning into dusty bitterness, well-balanced. Long, almondy bittersweet aftertaste.

Simonsen (1281) - NORWAY - MAR 15, 2014
Flaske fra vinmonopolet. Mørk kobber, klar, liten hvit skumtopp. Lite/medium karbonert. Smaker malt, karamell, honning, rosin, jord, korn. En fornøyelig øl.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Copper clear, white head. Smells of honey, resins, wood, hops and malt. Moderate sweet, sirupy, honey, resins and wood. Quite typical malt and hop bill for Southern Tier beers. Quite clean flavor, medium bitter which is quite woody. Very nice stuff

beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAR 2, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Pours a murky gold with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Mild aroma of malt with a few weak bready notes. The flavor is malt, somewhat grainy, with some light caramel sweetness followed by some mild lemon. Mild bitterness at the finish.
