I have found my beer for the summer. Complex, yet refreshing. Best of the style.

A unique take on a somewhat forgotten category and definitely worth a try. I’ll use this one for the bbq’s and save the ST Live for kickin’ back a few after those endless days of yard work this summer.

What a great new line from Southern Tier. Rich golden color with a pleasant nose. It is very balanced. Bravo.....

Pretty god beer. Poured cold, with smallish, cream-colored head that soon settled and almost no lace. Color is a clear deep, orange-copper-amber with plenty of bubble trails. Aroma is hop, malt, oak, spice. Flavor’s like nose, plus caramel and Is rich. Body is full, not too counter to its heavy bitterness, and has great carbonation. Finish is like flavor, with bitter hanging in there to the end.

Pours a dark golden color medium head with medium lacing on the glass. Earthy hoppy scent with a bit of fruitiness. Flavor is a lot more than you expect, a lot more of the malt flavor than the hops, bit of an IPA kick at the end. Quite a good beer.

Pours and smells almost like any lager. Light gold with decent carbonation and a small white head. Smells yeasty and moderately of alcohol. Real good for a double, i’ve tasted regular lagers like bud lately and this would blow a bid drinkers mind. Not much on taste really small hops and a lil alcohol taste common in any low class lager, but really you can’t even taste it that much and aftertaste goes away quick. Perfect if you want something high alcohol and almost tasteless. So give it up for what it is, steam beers don’t usually impress like this

aroma of mostly caramel malts and lager yeastiness..clear golden/reddish amber with pure white head that dissipates as it warms...taste brings out the bitter and spicy quality along with the forementioned malty base..palate..medium bodied good carbonation slightly bitter finish..overall..the only other beer ive tried for this style is anchor steam this isa touch maltier and stronger, however,it is drinkable and refreshing..let me put it this way if you like anchor steam, sam adams boston,or even michelob youll like this just as much maybe more

Bottle. Subtle pine, smoky caramel. Slightly amber, golden body, thin lasting head. Flavor begins with sweet, toasted malts with hints of pines and hops. Bitter finish. Very tasty beer
