Sweet stout. Nice body. Enjoyed this Southern Tier offering. Recommend this for those who don’t like a boozy imperial stout, but also don’t like a watered down weak stout. beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - JAN 13, 2013

UPDATED: APR 21, 2015 2015-04-18. Black body with a nice creamy head, I’m guessing a nitro pour. Aroma is mild, light roast character. 6+ Flavour is pleasant, light roast character throughout, moderate bitterness, hints at cocoa and green hops. Smooth bodied palate, soft carbonation. Enjoyable but just okay. 7/5/7/3-4/14 On tap at Allen Burger Venture, Buffalo.

2012-12-23. Black, modest brown head. 3+ Moderate aroma is sweet and malty, light roast and cocoa like notes, toasty malt. 7++ Flavour is fairly sweet overall, nice dark malty core, dry cocoa and roast in the finish provide enough bitterness to keep it from becoming cloying, mild sweet chocolate and light roast linger in the finish and aftertaste. 7++ Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate is softly carbonated. Fairly simple, but quite enjoyable. 7/4/7/4/16 Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo
