Bottle from Canal. Pours out black with a small off white head. Aroma is of roast, lactose sweetness and some chocolate. Mouth is full bodied, with notes of roast, chocolate, lactose sweetness and a light lingering bitterness in the finish. Tasty brew. kenwall17 (284) - new york, New York, USA - APR 20, 2012

35,5cl bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt with notes of milk. Sweet and creamy with quite pleasant chocolate and coffee flavour. The hops are hardly noticable, and it’s a bit too sweet for me, but still quite well balanced. Alcohol is hardly noticable. Finish is slightly dry with a hint of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Dazz3 (1799) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - APR 20, 2012

12oz bottle. Pours black with a small, light brown head. Aroma is of malt, hops, coffee, chocolater, and wood. Taste is very chocolately with a little bit of wood and some burnt coffee. There is a light hop flavor as well, but it is hidden more behind the malt as it warms. Definitely has a sweet lactose taste that keeps it from being too malty. Easy to drink. A tad too sugary, but still a solid beer. ChainGangGuy (4932) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 19, 2012
12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. DOB 02/14/12. Bacterial (3059) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - APR 18, 2012
Appearance: Slips out a black body with a medium-small, short-lived, ecru head. Near nil lacing.
Smell: Roasted malts with a chunky vein of burnt cream atop notes of chocolate chips, lesser caramel, and even lighter notes of lemon rind and black licorice.
Taste: Table sugar dosed quick-chilled coffee with round, sweet tastes of bittersweet chocolate and caramel. It’s got some sweetness, but definitely not over-the-top. There’s a firm roastiness underneath without being a hard, harsh roastiness, helping to curb the initial sweetness along with some underlying hop bitterness. Extremely subtle hints of citrus, florals. Then, a bit of licorice candy. Sweet roastiness on the finish that’s actually a bit crisp.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Slightly smooth mouthfeel.
Overall: It’s not the creamiest, most smooth milk stout on the block, but it’s still fairly solid. I enjoyed it well enough.
A solid stout all around. Dark brown with a light tan head. Nose is chocolate malt. Taste is a nice balance of malt and sweet with just a bit of hop to balance.

Dark brown with a thin ring of light tan lace. Nose is surprisingly dry for a ST stout. Some lactose sweetness, light hops. Flavor is slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Pretty nice balance. One of the better ST stouts I have had. AkA: not unbearably sweet. AlexanderJanku (110) - Randers, DENMARK - APR 14, 2012
