Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, light orange with trace sparkle, minimal off-white head with poor retention. Aroma is floral, berry, sugar, caramel malts. Taste is initial berry/fruit and malts, with strong resiny bitterness at end. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick texture, average carbonation, and bitter, dry, abrupt finish. Overall, the aroma is the standout but taste and palate are overly dominated by resiny bitterness. NYbeerfan (30) - Binghamton, New York, USA - FEB 14, 2018
love this beer. Bottle, its hella strong, 8.2%, but taste smoother than loads of ipa 6% or so. Smooth, crisp, I like it a lot more than a few years back when it first came out. It taste better. ibrubeer (438) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 10, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2018 Bottle. Aroma is hay/straw, a little malt, light hopiness. Med clear golden color with thin white head that fades, very little lacing. Flavor is pretty well balanced, but a little light for a DIPA. Bitterness is more of the piney kind, no citrus. Body is appropriate for a DIPA. Overall, not too bad. Pretty drinkable. edgallow (4762) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 3, 2018
Draft pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of pine, caramel and some citrus. Taste is resin and caramel. balloonbuffoon (849) - - DEC 29, 2017
12floz bottle, BOD: 10.31.2017, $1.75 unit cost, pint. Dumb, long run-on sentence ahead. Here is a pretty good lookin', smellin, tastin' DIPA: Dark gold with clarity and slightly off-white head, hoppy in a very traditional sense - herb, pine, citrus in aroma and taste, the taste has a good backbone of malt to add some needed honey, body is on the fuller side with moderate carbonation, which all taken together this is an alright ale. I've had this before, and it holds up to what I remember.

Bottle from Tops. Sticky and sickly sweet hops. Pine needles, fairly sweet, uncooked hop pellets. Odd. beern (258) - Alabama, USA - DEC 8, 2017
Pours orange golden and hazy with an aroma of oranges and hops. Tastes of orange citrus and hops with a thin palate of lively carbonation. Light bodied for an imperial. It’s a crisp light bodied IPA with little bitterness and a subtle malt backbone. hopper601 (4) - - NOV 24, 2017 does not count
Had to double check the bottle after the third swig to make sure I wasn't drinking my furniture polish,...UGH.Tastes like orange peels mixed with Orange Glo furniture polish.Half a bottle gave me a bit of a buzz though. The other half went down the drain. sbryant11 (17) - - NOV 22, 2017

Really? I haven't rated this??!? Thought surely. I know that I've had a few pints. Standard longneck, functional label. Slightly misted, clear gold with a fine white head. Hoppy, resinous, piney aroma. Sweet, malty, 'session' hopping, Gets a little vacant in the middle. Starchy mouthfeel. ABV is well masked, so the beer gets chummy. ABC Bull Run, in the discount bin at $.99 per.
