Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

straight from the bottle .... citrus aroma with some pine ... thick mouth feel ..... bitter up front and in the finish .... caramel malt shows up in the aftertaste ... good balance between the bitter citrus rind and pine with some malty sweetness

Amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, resiny hops, caramel malts, and light alcohol. Taste of citrus, pine, grapefruit, sticky caramel malts, and a bitter finish with light alcohol as well.

pours a very light golden color with a creamy looking medium white head...slightly lively looking...very nice retention and lacing. aroma is a touch sweet and has loads of citrus...grapefruit, pineapple...with a hint of spice that reminds me of saaz hops. sweetness of the aroma is lost in the flavor...spicyness is present up front (still reminiscent of saaz hops) while the end has dry grapefruit and is slightly tea-like. mouthfeel is lively and sticky at the same time with a very dry, earthy lingering finish. very tasty but i wish the citrus wasnt lost to dryness quite as much.

355 ml bottle @ Konttori, Tampere.
Pours a dark, slightly unclear yellow colour with a medium-sized, foamy and very lacy head. Aroma of pine needles, a fair amount of hops (Centennial and Amarillo at least) with some sweet tones. Malty backbone with some pine needles. Alcohol warming finish with citrus and hops. Pleasant DIPA and kudos for the small bottle.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2011 Draught. Light amber with a white head. Aroma: citrus, pineapple, lots of hops. Taste: pineapple, citrus, hops, some caramel in the background. Medium bodied. This is really good, I was expecting more of a heavy DIPA. I for one like them much maltier than this.
All-right, felt like having it again, this time a bottle. Dark golden, nice-looking off-white head with a creamy top. Aroma: fruity, caramel. Taste: peaches, oranges, lemons, herbal, a hint of nuts, butterscotch, not a very high bitterness. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation.

Yeah, write at the top of the ST list! From a 12 oz brown bottle, this stuff pours somewhat thick light and a little hazy. Not perfumy but strong in dull hop aroma. Thick nasty somewhat citrus flaovrs ar digging a trench down my palate. Rude ridiculus bad attitude. Drink this if you got an ax to grind baby. Slug after slug of balderdashing bitter hoppy medicine. Are hops part of the hemp family? If so, this is why Im getting dizzy from this overhopped SOB. Humanistic ratings but on style for this big crappy type of a volatile beer. Did I say beer? Is chewing on gobs of rotting green grapefruit rinds mixed with pine sap and spruce tar really beer? Not a beer by cheap lager lover standards. heheheh

Bottle via a trade with BA JAHMUR. Pours with a hazed yellow body and a small white head that doesnt last for very long. Aromas of pine, canned peaches, rotten red grapefruit, wheat, straw and lemon. Flavors of grass, grain, lemons, and canned peaches. Tastes a little bit faded, but who knows with East Coast IPAs. Lively bubbles. Grainy and lightly astringent finish.

12oz bottle, thanks to my dad for the 6pk. Golden pour. Smells like resin. Huge hop. Flavor is sweet and sticky, finishes with loads of citrus rind bitterness. Carries some heat.

12oz bottle. Cloudy golden-orange color. Foamy, lacy off-white head. Astringently bitter hop aroma. Earthy hop tones, sort of like an amped up APA, with a very clean mouthfeel. Lemom-lime citrus tones, smooth sweet malt backbone.

A clear yellow beer with a thin white head. Scent is pine, citrus and earth. Sharp hoppy taste of grapefruit and pine...nice bitter finish. Very good.
